Many thanks flippop,so glad you like them as it makes it all worthwhile. We have trying to ride every Standard/Narrow and miniature railway of GB,we have been doing this now for 45 years and still a lot more to see and ride.........Best wishes to you ..Chris
Hi Bob! The Hymek was running at the start of the day, we had a ride with that, then the Paddington came on later but she was having problems, that sorted, we did get a ride behind that but the smoke deflector was putting the the exhaust out the side we wanted to film so that ended up in the out takes! LOL!.........Regards Chris
Great video & proper model train scales, fantastic system with all the Signals and speed restriction signs will keep the Driver alert ! also love that 16mm narrow gauge at about 9.00 with the viduct etc. i am going up to chelmsford MEC on sunday they have a open day looking forward it, Regards Graham
Hi Graham,The track is fully track circuited and can be computer controlled enven the trains speeds are recorded.Great Society with some friendly members....That bridge is amazing...Have a good day at Chelnsford....Regards Chris
As a visitor to the track myself i'm not sure if the club advertise there running days. The day we visited they had a steady flow of visitors so somebody must have told them it was on....Most clubs now have a Website or a Facebook page to advertise the club for new members.....If you let me know the location you have moved to I could let you know if any Model Engineering or Miniature Railways are in your area.........Regards Chris
I rode a miniature train around Birmingham in Spring of 1992, was Sutton-Coldfield at Little Hay in 1992? Any insights into the miniature trains in the area at that time are greatly appreciated.
This is the Little Hay M.R,I'm not sure how much it has changed since 1992 but i'm sure if you went onto their website you would be able to contact somebody and they could help you out......Regards Chris
Hi Harry. It is on the long list,we have been near to it a few times but never get to it....Will try next year...Thanks for commenting........Regards Chris
This is another reason we load these videos to RUclips Hazel, the times we have been told the same thing..It's nice that we can give these clubs an advert to attract new members, also giving them a bit more revenue..I hope you will make a visit?....Regards Chris
Looks like a great miniature railway and love the live steam garden railway. I'll have to try and visit this one next year!
You don't have to ride them all in one year.Just take your time.
Many thanks for all your enjoyable films on miniature steam and engineering societies in the uk. Best regards from Germany
