Really like your longer videos. Thoroughly enjoy watching you create. You don’t give yourself enough credit. You have a great imagination. TYFS. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just found your channel and love you card style and your pace of the video. Get down to business and teach….love it! I will be binge watching your past videos!
I've stared at my collection of shape sets and now I have lots of ideas to try. Thanks! I also love the way you stacked the sprigs of foliage. Not only does it look more lush I think it's easier to compose them. Next time I'm struggling I'll try adding more!
It’s so cool to get on a roll making several similar cards like this. I went crazy once making Christmas cards with every scrap of paper I had until I was down to 3x3” cards for the mailman and trash pickup guys. It was one of my most enjoyable card making sessions. You gave me some more ideas with using dies in different ways. We do get bored making everything alike. Lol
That’s so awesome! I did a similar thing one year for Christmas, challenged myself to use as many scraps as possible and the challenge was so fun and made it much more interesting 💕
Again, WOW. Never get bored watching your videos and watch them to the end. You go girl! You can always use a piece of printer paper to prevent cuts and lines transferring to your card stock if the plate is transferring unwanted texture. I wash my plates under hot water and scrub the debris out of the old cuts too. I'm sure you know this but maybe someone here doesn't. :)
It’s always worth mentioning in case someone doesn’t! 💕 I do know the printer paper trick but for some reason I always forget about it till after I run the paper through and I’ve already transferred the texture over! 😅😂
Ok I was impressed with your pillow box too! I’ll never take the time to fuss with all that, but it turned out fantastic ! Your little card attached really set it off too. Really impressed. You can tell you are extremely experienced and been doing this for a long time regularly. I’ve been making cards for 25 years but not regularly so I’m still trying new techniques and never mastered old ones. I’m new to your channel and I have really enjoyed your videos. You’re so fast! These were really remarkable!
You completely blew my mind with these cards! I cannot get over how changing the base shape then layering gives it such an elegant, expensive look! High end! Just beautiful! I also liked the way the colors naked image looked on the metallic! I don’t better press but could still stamp metallic cardstock so that was cool too! This was a really good video! Thank you!
WOW ! What a high impact card that deeper purple and gold arched layers card is! Very elegant! That would make a stunning wedding card in whatever color you like. Gorgeous! It looks so rich! Very impressed! I also have never seen metallic die cut flower centers and loved that before you ever mounted them on the card! Fantastic! I need to make a wedding card and this would be perfect ! Maybe a different color but perfect! I sadly don’t have a mix like that. But I’m going to look and see what I have its striking!
This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched and I loved it. You are a great teacher and explain everything so well. I love your creativity. Your cards are beautiful! Thank you
@@ArtsyIslandGirl yes, using a sander to grind down die marks helps a lot in renewing the plates. I have to say, or all the videos I have watched, your video impressed me the most. Thank you so much for sharing.
@@ArtsyIslandGirl fyi, you can make color paste with DecoArt Triple Thick Glaze, Reinkers and Mica powder, the color changing mica (Luna paste?) powder is called harmony series I believe.

When the plates get damaged, I boil to get them more flat then I use a drill grinder to sand down the cut grooves. This really helps.
I have used boiling water and a big pan with boiling water to flatten them and it does help😊
