to be honest i didn’t understand how to make the first row because you cut off a piece of the video and I don’t understand where to insert the hook😭😭. but I really like you idea with this top, you’re really talented!!

i’m so sorry that it’s confusing! so basically from rows 4-17 (5:35 shows the numbers) you want to decrease every OTHER row alternating the sides you do them on. for decreasing, you just skip one space and start the hdc from the next space. and u do the same thing for rows 6,10,14 but on the other side so have the half point marked and skip one stitch when decreasing! hope this helps:)
no no we aren't turning it around! you go the same direction the entire time, its just that after you do one decrease on the right side of the work, the next decrease would be on the left side of the work (which are the rows for 6,10, and 14) although if that is too confusing, it would still be fine if you just did the decreases on the right the entire time:)
Can someone help I don't understand. I did rows 1-3 eventually but I don't understand what it's means for rows 4-17, because it just shrunk my 'top' down after 3 rows, so I don't understand the alternating part.

ive been struggling with the same thing 😅😭
just look up foundation row hdc for more detail or if ur really stuck just chain the number then hdc into each chain it will just take longer 🩷
