To answer some common comments/questions:
Q: When is it coming out?
-A: When it's done. This is a mostly solo project that I'm working on in my spare time, and at this point I can't give a realistic prediction - nor do I want to be working under the pressure of living up to it.
Q: Which bad ending is this based on?
-A: The short answer is the third one. The long answer is that it is based on my own interpretation of the third bad ending, which may not match up exactly with the actual playable ending (which is only a few lines of text, anyway)
Q: Does Athena appear / is Athena playable?
-A: Athena is planned to appear in a supporting role, but is not playable in the main game. If you'd like to try a similar project which does star Athena, try out drvonkitty and ProsecutorZekrom's "Dark Ace Saga" here: aaonline.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13023
Q: Who came up with the design for Prosecutor Justice?
-A: The design and spritework were done by mercurialSK for the Court-Records 2013 Sprite Cup and are used - to the best of my knowledge - according to his usage guidelines.

We have Appeal to Truth (JfA bad ending), the Dark Ace Saga (AJ bad ending), now this. All we need is one based on an SoJ bad ending.
(As a bonus, this and the Dark Ace Saga both feature the same Prosecutor Justice sprites)

Which bad ending? Turnabout for Tomorrow had three bad endings.
*spoilers*
Failing to refute Blackquill's confession causes all the hostages to disappear.
Failing to prove Athena's innocence to Aura afterward causes Athena to disappear.
Failing to prove the Phantom is the killer just results in the Phantom escaping.
This is based on the third one, achievable after the Phantom has the Mood Matrix used on him. Thank you for your comment!
@@in1tiateSorry but if the story is based on, the last bad ending, Apollo turning on Phoenix makes no sense to me because by that point, he had already been shown that he could trust Phoenix to fight for the truth when he cross-examines Apollo. I can understand being devastated and quitting being a lawyer, however, why would he regress into blaming Phoenix for the loss after already receiving proof through Phoenix’s actions that he fights for the truth?

@@in1tiateI don’t know if you’ve thought about this but Phoenix would still be grieving at this point, over Maya’s death. With Phoenix hiding from the world, rite of turnabout would happen without him and Maya would most likely be executed quickly due to it being such a high profile case, but that creates such story potential and character development for Phoenix, knowing that his mistake of hiding away, thus, cutting off contact from everybody, may have cost his best friend her life, just something this announcement got me thinking about

no pressure! i just gasped when i watched this, it looks SO cool & so much more true to where the series left off with aj. this is really something special!!! finished or not, this is such an inspiration to me. now i'm fantasizing about making the ace attorney investigations 3 set in zheng fa i've always wanted, haha

This is a solo venture mostly because I began it that way, and I don't have the infrastructure to bring other people on. However, I do have friends that I bounce ideas off of, and I have received several offers of help since the announcement, so maybe that'll change...?
I encourage you to try your hand at creation! I find it's best to start in small chunks - this game began as an (unreleased) one-shot fanfiction that I became enamored with the setting of - just a couple paragraphs, really. I surprised myself by coming this far, so I think anything is possible.

This looks so cool! I just have one question which is wether this actually follows the canon of apollo justice in og aa or if tis a new story?
The premise of Justice For Eternity is a what-if scenario - "What if, at the end of Dual Destinies, the Phantom escaped justice?" The game picks up from there, about a year or so later. Everything before then is the same as in canon. Thank you for your comment.

I suspect you're referring to Attorney Online 2, which I am a developer for. Luis Hawk is a character from Trials After Justice which is a fan game unaffiliated with this project.
