Fantastic. I have been watching the videos from the area there for about a year now. I'm in Tampa Florida area. I'm going to retire in Thailand there too. I'll be 67. Looking forward to a very much. I'm booked to be landing at the little airport in Pattaya City on April 3rd.
Back in the day Kitten Club was um 'amazing' to say the least. Many a happy er um time there - as it were. The seating was very well thought out for a great evening.
When you got your first bar The Assienda I said, in the comments, it was your first acquisition in the Assienda empire. I must have had my nose to the wind and caught the scent of your coming success. Very glad for your continued good fortune. Nice visit to the dimsum restaurant. Enjoyed the video thanks.
Nick, I see you've still got the old sign out in front of Lupa... Planning to re-use the Rosie O'Gara name again? Nice to see a bit of the old Artex on the walls of an Indian Restaurant. Haven't seen that for years... 555
I ate at Amritar twice in July. The food is delicious, it's better quality than the average Pattaya Indian restaurant, but i didn't like the 10% service charge and 7% VAT.
Fab bar Nick and the ruby house look nice I stayed at the penthouse many times Nick, its the best room i ever stayed in 💯 % in my opinion But why did it close Nick and what happed to the owner Dudley ??? 😮
When on leave I use to see you walking down Soi 13/4? In front of the Shamrock Bar back before The Classroom was enclosed and Penthouse had “two sides.” I thought you were an undercover UK Rocker. I am not joking.
even if it was 10,000 baht that will document is worth it. Because of the importance. The breakfast spot next your bar is very nice convenience when you don't feel like looking for breakfast
Curry looked alright. But If I go for a Taliban it needs to be like one from home. Where does it like home in Pattaya??? Cheers & good luck with the bar 👍
Ha ha. I know the location and spot. He was a retired Submarine Chief of the Boat Master Chief and I use to drink at that bar and corner. I too am a retired Fleet Marine Force Master Chief now but use to stand Beach Guard at the old Merlin Hotel (now Hardrock). Well Done!
@@NDTViThailand Heck Yes! That is The Spot. Perfect. I still stop by every visit just to look and remember. My wife of 41 years I met on deployment there and turned my drunk butt down worked at the Merlin.
UK intestacy rules are the same. If you are in a common law relationship (not married) your partner gets nothing. It goes down the family tree: parents, brothers/sisters, their children etc. If none, it goes to HMRC, never to your partner.
Best of luck with new bar ... !!!
The Indian food looked really good.Nick Martin👍
It was very good mate.

Not many places but this wasn't too bad. I always direct people to the Royal Cliff hotel but recently had a bad experience. Ali Ba Ba is good.
Wow only watched first half of video before I commented 😅 6000 baht seems reasonable ...Nice information nick ... thank you x
They need a Amritsar restraunt in koh kong city

SEISO great food, but the chairs are so uncomfortable for eating, seats are same level as tables

Heck, I remember when there was One, 1 ATM that accepted cards with the “Plus” symbol and if you knew…you knew.
Quite digital here now literally everyone scan pays, literally 80% of Thais have it.

This last time I used that Eatigo app it was in The Kitchen on 2nd road 👍
Not sure it is as good as back then. I mean it works but not as much choice.
