Tinsky-poo??! Omgosh you are amazing! So fun! So awesome! Can’t get enough of the slappy poo and CRUSHY PANTS!!!! Please keep the videos full size and full length! You are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!
I don’t get negative energy at all! I love the banter with Marius, and the general vibe of your videos. My mixology chops have gotten much better. Thank you! Can you explain slappy poo and crushy pants?
Suggestion for the Peach Whiskey Smash: mint first, granulated sugar next. Then, cut the lemon short-way, then quarter each half. Put them in skin side down. Add your peach slices, then muddle. The sugar will abrade the lemon peel and release more oil. You'll need a longer shake, but it should be even brighter.
Hi Leon. Love your cocktails and videos as always. Might be worth mentioning in this video in particular that the peach bitters you use in this episode, it contains nut oil which is not good for people with a nut allergy. Anyways, great work Sir. Cheers.🍸🥃
Big fan of your content. Would love to see you put out a video on seltzer cocktails this summer. Probably not much of a challenge for you but they seem to be very popular these days.
3:50 - I HIGHLY recommend the Strong Water in Anaheim, even for those that aren’t into Tiki. The “Juniper Merchant” back room is dedicated to Gin and it’s fantastic!
I made that Morgenthaler Blended Negroni recently and ohhh man, it's so good. Probably the best possible translation of a Negroni to a slushie format. He technically uses rich syrup, so I did 1 oz of 1:1 and 2 oz of orange juice for my "juice of one orange." Definitely sweet, but you need that for blended drinks, as he explains on his website.
To be fair the Pussers rum in a painkiller actually does make the drink since it has such a special flavour profile. Much like the Goslings also makes a difference in a dark & stormy. But to trademark the names is just silly.
Yeah that's the thing, I don't even know if Pusser's is the best rum for a painkiller, but you need something with a lot of character and that's a good example of one...
In 10 days I will be in my new house in Florida. The Frozen Negroni will be the first cocktail I make. They all look great but I've been on a Negroni kick lately. Thanks Leandro!
After watching your old fashioned video, I was hooked. Thanks. My wife’s uncle has a lake house with lots of booze. I started doing drinks. They love it. I make sure you get the credit my man. 😉
Just a little clarification for you and your subscribers. “Virgin Islands Rum” is made on the island of St.Croix, which is a territory of the United States 🇺🇸, specifically/only. It’s called Cruzan Rum because of where it’s made. Jost Van Dyke is a part of the British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬. Very different territories
I think this is the first time I've seen you use clairin, which is really cool! I don't know if you've gotten a chance to try some of the others, but they all taste wildly different.
On the Peach Smash in the video you put just Bourbon but in the description you also mention Curacao. what would be the correct cocktail with or without
If you don’t mind me asking, did Steve send you that bottle, or did you actually get it from a retail shop or distributor??? I was told it wasn’t in the U.S. yet!
At the beginning of some of your videos, you introduce yourself as Leandro something or other. I know the channel is The Educate Barfly, but be proud (and clear) of your name. It will outlast The Educated Barfly. As an aside, I like seeing the recipes in the details. If you're connected to Curiada, kindly include the product names and links? I like supporting my RUclips creators.
The REAL Killer of Pain (F- Pussers) is 1 part each of orange and coconut cream, 2 parts Cruzan Aged Rum, 4 parts pineapple, and the nutmeg. The rum is obviously variable to taste, or lack there of.
It would be really nice if you would include ice amounts to the recipes of your tiki/blended drinks where the amount can make such a difference in the end product.
Floradora reminds me of a bit from Grimnir's Burlesque in American Gods: "Take ten terrific girls, but only nine costumes, and you're cooking up something grand..."
it's like 3/8 or something odd, I have one. It's close enough and I use it for a quarter oz. Really only ever use it in the Vodka Espresso for the simple syrup
The written Whiskey Peach Smash recipe differs from what you made on camera. The written version has an ounce of Curacao and no mention of simple syrup. Can you clarify?
Hey Leandro, I have a question please? I’m designing a cocktail (old fashioned variation) that uses peach bitters. I’ve spotted that there seem to be two main peach bitters available, bitter truth and fees. Do you have any strong recommendations for either one, (is one noticeably just better) or would you recommend getting both and seeing how they play in the drink? Thanks, Sam
I like fees a lot. Can’t say which because I haven’t had the bitter truth so looks like you’re gonna have to test it :) it’s better to do side by side comparisons when making a cocktail anyway because there might be one you like better on it’s own but isn’t as good in the cocktail as the one you don’t prefer
Hi there, small notice in the Whiskey Peach Smash recipe you have in the comments 2 peach slices instead of 3 used and it's missing the 3/4oz of simple syrup and it's also mentioning curacao that I don't see you use it. Just so you know, we don't go strait to the recipe some of us actually like to see you work :)
I'm not muddling at a party sorry... everytime I go to a party with drinks, 6-9 people want a drink at the same time. I'm not trying to clock in when I go over to a friend's house. I'd like to see how you'd batch these so it'd be EASY to make 10 drinks at once. what happened to super juice?
I mean, you can't make "super juice" out of muddled ingredients, but it's not really rocket science. Take the proportions he made in one glass and make a whole pitcher of it at once, like 4-6x all of the measurements.
I muddle at parties. I also make them 2 at a time in shakers, but I don't work as a bartender so I don't care if I'm spending time doing it, so I guess listen to what Nathan Turner said
@@nevadanate4957 super juice is oleo citrate with fresh juice added... Not sure what you think super juice is. Thanks for the amazing recipe advice! What I wanted to see was him make a peach mint syrup, add a bottle of whiskey and a certain amount of juice and bottle it up. Pour on rocks and boom... 10 cocktails.
@@MrAshtonK I mean you brought up super juice, I assume you thought that was related to batching muddled ingredients? You could probably figure out a peach syrup but I've heard mint syrup is tricky and a lot of people seem to avoid relying on it.
Would always caution newcomers to frozen cocktails to use fresh, clean ice in your drinks otherwise the entire drink could be ruined by stale, dirty ice.
I'm not really a gin ennthusiast, so I was wondering if a frozen Boulvardier would work pretty much the same or if the citrus element would need adjusting?
Hey! Got a content idea for you! Theres an anime about bartending called Bartender, it would be free content to watch a few episodes of it and react. Maybe check out a few episodes and see what you think? I think it gets a lot of things right.

Hello Leandro, is it possible to make the Florodora with any red fruit syrup we want ?
Whoever took the time to tag the recipes in the timeline, you're my hero.
Gin is probably my go to liquor for summer. Produces such crisp, refreshing cocktails.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, VERY HELPFUL FOR MY SCHOOL ACTIVITY. WATCHING FROM PHILIPINES ❤️💚
Did I miss the “top with ginger beer” part of the floradora?
My current staple for this summer will be a mescal paloma. But i guess now i have to try your suggestions as well. nomnom
Lol, good job making sure we’re paying attention - I rewound twice looking for when you added in the ginger beer!
🤣🤓
same lol

Try it with 1.5 oz Lemon Hart or Hamilton 151 instead of the normal 2-4 of Pusser's. Infinitely better
Hamilton Jamaican pot still or their Demerara would work really well, I’d reckon.
Love when you do videos like this, I'll definitely recriate all of this drinks. Cheers from Brazil Leandro 🥃🇧🇷

My drink for the summer so far is bahama mama... i actually was playing about shaking it the other day and damn it actually is sort of better shaken
fabulous leandro. I am away in maderia at the moment drinking daiquiris.
What kind of mint do you like for your tiki drinks? Looking to start growing some at home.
We love your channel mate ! I couldn’t find the link for the coco loco
Awesome stuff now i can make good stuff for my friends :) Summer vibes hehe.
Whiskey peach smash tastes like iced tea! I like it a lot.
Awesome drink recipes!🙌🏻. I can’t wait to make them all! BTW it’s hot as Hell🥵🔥 here in GA so I’m a huge fan of slushy drinks 🥤 😜
Frozen Negroni....who would of thunk it.........I like it
Brooooo you skipped the “top with Ginger Beer” part on the Florodora recipee xDDD.

Do you have a link to the citrus juicer you were using there? Been looking for one just like that, but haven't managed to find one
Loved the video ^^
One thing - it says white Jamaican rum but you talk about Clairin. which one is it? (and if Clairin - which?)
I used Clairin, didn’t catch the edit mistake but you can absolutely use jamaican. Up to you

How long can I keep freshly squeezed lemon juice in a swing top bottle, along with freshly squeezed lime juice? So a bottle for each juice.
One of my most favorite channels. Up there in top 3
Can we get some praise for the editor who titled the chapters in the video?

How do you get the texture to be all uniform and slushy like? Do you have to blend strongly and for a long time or how do you reach that consistency?
I use a nutrabullet blender and blend for about 10-15 seconds

Where I live you can only get good fresh peaches a month or two out of the year, would either frozen or canned work for this at all?
It would be really nice if you would include ice amounts to the recipes of your tiki/blended drinks where the amount can make such a difference in the end product.
To be fair if it's just on crushed ice then you can do it visually like he does, but I agree blended drinks need precision about that.
Though a common guideline is, you should aim for twice as much ice as the volume of ingredients in the blender.

noticed a small mistake - in the green swizzle, it says jamaican rum when you used a haitian rum
