Imagine you're 5 years old(yeah, I played this when I was 5), you boot up your PC and double click on the little red Wraith icon on your desktop, the massive CRT monitor is still building up that static you know it will have on the glass for the next several hours, you get comfy on your chair with your legs dangling in midair. You hear the startup song for StarCraft and you think, "wow, that sounds cool. I'm here for something more specific though", and you click all the right icons to navigate your way to that campaign select. You Don't know what the icons say, all you know is that they take you to that super cool marine guy next to the weird alien dude and the creepy worm lizard thing. You click on the marine dude and instantly skip the tutorial and the briefing for the first mission. You're here for one thing only. After just a few seconds of loading that may as well be a few decades to an impatient toddler, you hear it. The Terran soundtrack. And your brain doest realize it's all digital sounds but in your tiny toddler brain, what this man right here has created for us and himself-- that's what you hear in your head. Not that admittedly amazing soundtrack Blizzard made. You actually hear it exactly how this legend has made it and here you are, 22 years later, listening to what you imagined in your head as a reality. Wonder how many people will get to see this comment over a year since the last one 😅

The Terran soundtrack in starcraft is one of the best in gaming.
We had pure bombs in gaming, Klepacki is a fucking god on that front, and while I'm thinking about Dune, take a look at the OST of Emperor: Battle for Dune. Great stuff.

Probably because this was the only theme that played repetitively in the N64 version, but the theme was still kick ass. This track is my favorite BY FAR!

I don't think its possible to give more love to the game that started eSports, but yes the soundtrack needs more attention on it's own merits.
It's hard to do a remix of the Starcraft soundtrack, because it's so goddamn good to begin with.

Terran music is just the best, all their tracks are fire, even the SC2 ones have charm (albeit a bit more of a western flair than outright rock).
Damn dude that outro is smokin. Clean gtr and clean leads could come up in the mix a hair but this is a killer arrangement.

I liked the Starcraft tunes while the zerglings screwed me over at two minutes. Never viewed the Terran music as great. It catches you and makes you hum or do some weird mouth music, lol. This cover makes me LOVE it. So heavy, fast, and groovy.
