I like how instead of necessarily breaking down each individual mathematics operation, you simply show us how to achieve the answer,
which is what most of us are looking for anyway. Yes, we can sit here and follow through with each equation,
but with process of elimination, a little bit of common sense, and a few basic math skills - we can find the right answer.
    Thank you for this.

Thought id share my 2 cents. I've been studying the ASVAB for a couple months now with an ASVAB prep 22-23 book, asvab for dummies on my mobile phone ,any kind of practice tests I can find online, and supposedly now, RUclips. The ASVAB book gives good tips, but it's a lot to read with not much information except basic general knowledge. It seems as though Colfax math has taught me more quick ways to solve problems than the book has in only 2 episodes. I would stick to the online studying. Good luck everyone!

So many opinions on ways to study the Asvab especially nowadays which are “ you don’t to study hard “ & “ do your best on it “ when talking to near recruiters office if interested of joining the military .My navy recruiter told me only basic math & English knowledge what matters the most . Other section just do your best. This video helps a lot especially my math knowledge is somewhat well. Arithmetic reasoning is what I dislike the most. Also navy to Enlist is now a 10-30 . Easy to join but job wise is gonna be on & off.

@@deborasandrine5542 its 1.6 you take 4.6 and multiply it by 3 remembering that 12 inches is a foot 4.6 x 3 (remembering that everytime i get .12 its a foot) is 4.6 x 4.6 (9.0) x 4.6 is 13.6 so you have 0.6 left out of the piece or a quicker way to solve is to remove the inches and convert to feet so .6 x 3 gives me .18 which is a foot and a half so i do 4 x 3 = 12 then add 1.6 giving me 13.6 leaving .6 over

You probably shouldn’t be too picky , in no means to disrespect but if you really want to join that bad and are willing to do what it takes , you might want to talk to you’re recruiter about the Cat4 program and then retake it once you’re in the military ! I’ve failed my first attempt scoring a 20 on the asvab no line scores whatsoever! But I’m going to keep studying and learn new steps to solving math portions, just remember now matter how much time you look at the book or study guide it wouldn’t change anything you have to practice the problems and don’t stop until you get it , pause, rewrite, rewind, fwd, you have these tools for appropriate training of you’re brain ! Don’t give up man the military wants people who fight to accomplish Not fail to surrender !
