Simple tip, have a shulker filled with ominous bottles and stay at the top to farm multiple raids consecutively, so you don’t have to go down and wait a long time for new captains. (Trial chambers give you ominous bottles as well)

@@Drellfulv Yeah, but you will need ominous bottles to start the raid . So, it's much better to make it above the outpost

the only issue i had was the water freezing because of how high up mine was but all i had to do is put some torches down also make sure to make extra storage cause if fills up really fast and if the exp is getting stuck in the hoppers you can put carpet over it and the exp wont get stuck

If you want to getting more ominous bottle(raid bottle) you can searching for them in trial chamber,the higher the level of the potion is,the hard the raid be,that mean you can get more loot
The potion levels don’t matter rn
No it just means you get more loot because the number of enemies is higher

Some tip for this farm
1. Dont make the lava flow into 3 block, just make it 1 by puting sign right under the lava source, because witch can drink fire resistance potion and swim up making this farm tooking a long time because of that one witch (the ravager can still get killed by the lava so dont worry)
2. Make an omninous potion farm, its pretty simple (make sure you kill the pillager captain by urself or using trident killer, because they don't drop the potion if you kill it using another way like campfire, lava or fall damage)
3. If youre puting chest near the Raid farm, i recommend puting leaves upside the chest/solid block, even though It's beside you the enemies can still spawn there (i almost get killed because ravager spawn)
4. Use hard difficulty so you can get more round and more loot
they keep spawning on different parts i tried everything to try to fix it
Can you explain your first point a bit more? I dont understand how you mean to make the lava only 1 space

I have an issue where they’re spawning on top of the leaves and somehow along the side of the pit where you kill them but like up along the wall and floating??? Any tips on how to fix it??
here were some of my issues and how i fixed them!
1. ravagers would move up in the lava stream and burn some of the leaves so i would raise the walls by 3 around the lava
2. for me my outpost was at a high altitude, so when i built my farm, most of my water that wasnt waterlogged froze, so, i put a 4x4 column by the opposite corner of where the raiders spawn, so they spawn elsewhere and the water always carries them

Just built this. Works nice. Didn’t think the Villager method was gonna work that easily but honestly, it was really smooth. I made a little platform when I was high enough that he swung and landed on it, then I could push him into the bed from there.
My l advice for those making, plan to expand storage. You’ll need it. And spawn proof everything you can stand on with leafs or pillagers will spawn on it.
When I try to move the villager the leads snaps as I build up, any ideas?

Is it possible to make a sorting mechanism below the farm or is it too risky? Would it be better to move the loot to other place? How far does it need to be?
@@NerdyCrow17 tbh I haven’t made a sorting system but I’ve thought about it a lot, especially since I have one for my gold farm, it could be really really useful.
For now though I just have some chests w hoppers and I throw away the junk every time it gets to full. Definitely would recommend a sorting system but may be hard cause you’re like 100 blocks up.
does the outpost have to be active with pillagers?
a tip for if you find 2 outposts make one a raid farm and one a bad omen farm, this will make it way more efficient and semi easier

Tip: if you are in a cold biome and the water keeps freezing, place a redstone torch or regular torch above the water that is able to freeze to stop it from freezing

Tip-u can add a trident killing chamber so u can afk without worrying
Totem farm is no longer afk farm
You can do that but you would have to still drink the bad omen potion

Works really well. Make sure you follow the instructions really close and you are going to need a lot more ladders.

This works great on its own, but you can significantly increase the rates if you make a bubble elevator to send outpost pillagers to the top of the farm, that way you can get large amounts of ominous bottles.

@@pjthegiant7313 so, in this farm, in order to start another raid, you have to travel back down to the bottom of the farm and wait for a pillager captain to spawn so you can get an ominous bottle. Doing this for every raid can be time consuming, so you can attach a bubble elevator to the pillager’s spawn location and send them to the main part of the farm. Not only that, but during the raid, any pillagers sent up to the top of the farm will join the raid, thus giving the regular pillagers the same loot table as an actual raid mob. This can nearly double the amount of emeralds and enchanted books you get from the farm.

you can make it faster by using a trident killer on the raid, and on the banner pillagers, then autosort the bottles into a water elavator, you can make it fully automatic

To make the spawn rates of the captain pillager faster place a glass pane on where they spawn around them and wait there for 5 seconds, it instantly spawn after you kill a raid. To find where they spawn, place a glass pane all around the out post (the top of the outpost where they spawn) and when you found where they spawn destroy all glass panes except from where they spawn. Sometimes they always spawn at westside of a block
u mean put one glass pane where they should spawn or make a square where they spawn?

A small tip for getting the villager up on the farm. You can already follow the next steps and build the spawn platform, but keep the hole above the villagers leave platform. By doing this you''ll have more space to balance the villager off his boat.

This is exactly what I need, just started in a new world, spawned at a village that has a pillager tower lol

If the pillage outpost is so close to the village, it might not work
These are the reasons:
1.) The raid mobs *MIGHT* spawn on the village instead of the platform you built
2.)The villager you put along with the workstation and bed might choose another nearby workstation and bed, which means the farm wouldn't work
3.)It might affect the spawn rate because you're close to a village
Just try to do the farm if the outpost is 400 blocks away

Before starting a raid make sure that you have changed the difficulty in hard mode and have a mending,looting 3 Sword for the best loot
If you build this in the snow the snow will pile up and cause pillagers to spawn anywhere even if it’s a leaf block, to prevent this place string ontop of the leafs

You can just remove the block under the lava and replace it with sign, so the withcehs also fall. Sometimes when its thunderstorm a lightning can hit the leaves and they will burn. Im sure you can use slabs instead them
I put soul campfires over the hoppers. If an enemy is consistently getting stuck on the top each raid, likely bc its trying to climb on the cobblestone 」shape, replace the air above the L with a water bucket.

Works great and less complex than some other farms. I added a trident killer and extra storage but followed the tutorial as is besides the two changes. Got a ton of loot just from 6 raids including my first ever totem of undying. Thank you!!
When adding a trident killer do you still get the xp ?

for some reason my Bad Omen last about 20 seconds and stops disappears without starting a Raid. anyone know why this is? I’m on an Xbox 3 Player Realm and it works on a test world

If you build a leaf platform going up to the villager and then go up to it after drinking the ominous bottle it should fix that
