I’ve got nothing against Mike Pollock himself, if anything I quite enjoy his role as Dr. Robotnik for the Sonic franchise, but he’s got to have one of the strangest voice acting resumes ever; he’s worked for Video Binquedo, Just Cause 3, the narrator for Pokemon from 2003 to 2013, Kirby: Right Back At Ya! and the Yu Gi Oh Anime, just to name a few.
Callum Sparrow he just does whatever he needs to do. Gotta eat and pay bills I guess.
He was also in the 90's Berserk anime wasnt he? He was a sexist enemy general I think.

Mike is the most valuable and best part of this game.
The Gargamel actor is Hank Azaria, he played Gargamel in the first Smurf movie, and just his voice in the second.
He played many Simpsons characters like Moe, Carl, and Wiggum.
He played Blue Raja in Mystery Men, and Kahmunrah in Smithsonian 2.
So yeah he was taking the paycheck.
You forget him stealing every scene he was in in The Birdcage.

to be fair before this stream ppl got mad at Mike for whatever reason for doing voices for Ratatoing and etc. when most don't realize voice actors usually don't get paid piss so they have to take whatever gigs they can get and as long as there's a decent paying paycheck at the end of it then it doesn't matter.
so it's not you Vinny just a lot of ppl don't understand even with voice acting and etc. in most jobs and careers you have to do shitty gigs in order to get better and move up. it's just how it is.
Thing is Mike is a well known VA at that, he could have probably gotten a fair bit from the gig by flexing his status.
I remember at a con a few years ago, some voice actors were saying sometimes they're just given a script and not told what it's for. They don't always know it's for some shitty straight to video movie or shovelware game, but people think they have a ton of creative control over the project, and it's like nope they literally got paid to read off a piece of paper. If they were lucky they got visuals to go along with the dub. Sometimes that means good projects, sometimes that means Ratatoing and Carnival Games

In the voice acting world, it’s not uncommon for an actor to take on several roles at a time without knowing what they’re for. Makes sense for Mike Pollock’s case, considering he was both in that circus game and also in “Ratatoing”.

Given how the other songs went, I'm honestly surprised they didn't try to turn Barbara Streisand into Barbara Smurfsand.
It's always a joy to hear the voice of Mike Pollock, even if it's in a random piece of shovelware.
Plus he's speaking in verse!
Also, that Medieval Games game clearly had some very prominent voice actors in it! I swear I could hear the voice of Tara Strong.
I love how the very first challenge of Myth Makers was walking in a straight line and the first thing that happens is Vinny veers off to the right because of the horrible controls.
You honestly can't blame Mike for the questionable voice roles. You have to start somewhere from the ground up. Now, he's a wonderful actor and probably beloved by many, but it isn't that much of a surprise to realize he did Ratatoing and Kirby. If anything, the voice actress for Rogue the Bat is even more surprising, having put her voice in several hentai and America's Next Top Model for Wii.
Work is work. We can't all be A-listers, the likes of Nolan North and Laura Bailey sucking up all the top notch roles.
If some director offered me a few thousand to voice over a shit game for an afternoon I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

I can't fucking believe I finally got a Chromecast that can do 4K on my 4K TV and the first thing I decide to use it for is to watch Data Design.
Data Design Interactive is defunct. Now the CEO, Stewart Green, is living in Florida. Christine Green, which I can only assume is his wife, is a realtor for British Realtors in the Sunshine State, or BRITSS. Their website is kinda shit, honestly. But the DDI website recently (around September 2017) added an image saying "Under Construction". And this definitely is owned by Stewart Green, as the WHOIS information on GoDaddy lists him as the registrar, and if you use Inspect Element on the DDI website you can see a link to the BRITSS website.
This _could_ mean the return of DDI. Or it could not. Idk.

Ok the Dolphin Emulator Wiki, as to why the Smurfs dance party won't work, is just too funny not to share. Check the issues on bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issue/9185:

Again I'm suprised that Vinny speaks German almost fluid.
Also a fun fact: RTL is a German television channel but most of the programm is trash (in my opinion). So much fake reality TV, it's not worth watching it. But funny side note, a few years ago RTL made a report about the Gamescom and said that all gamers are socially awkward guys with smelly clothes.
This got a huge backlash and the channel had to apologize for it's shitty behavior.

About that Data Design thing, doesn’t it feel like the worst con ever to put the effort of developing an entire game engine from thin air? Like, even if it’s shit, making a game engine and developing a game (even if it’s just a clone, you have to change up textures and graphics, which means making new ones- not to mention the mechanics and other stuff) is no easy job. And for what? Just a few bucks from people who bothered to buy them? It’s not worth the effort, to be honest.
The crazy thing is that the former CEO and president of Data Design lists his work there on his Linkedin profile as if it's something to be proud of. I agree completely that voice actors gotta do what they gotta do. VAs voiced most of my childhood and I love and respect them all very much.
That said, Mike Pollock needs to grow up, or at least grow a thicker skin. His reaction to the stream was immature and whiny. What's more, Vinesauce supporters flocked to Mike's twitter page to reassure him that Vinny loved him and respected him and that no one hated him for doing the role and they understood and so on and so forth. But Mike basically replies to all those people that those good nice things mean nothing because a few anonymous meanies on the internet were making fun of him.
