@@TheCasinoCrew same honestly, Tama for me don’t really do it in terms of sound quality. usually Tama quads sound like tin cans but Bluecoats were able to find a good quality sound with these. their Yamaha days will be remembered for sure tho!
I also think that Tom Float (RIP) had a hand and was a consultant for Tama Marching Percussion Instruments when the prototypes came out. Even Float used to be with Yamaha later when to Tama as well.
