I worked for a farmer, back in the 70s, that had a unloader like this one, we always had to hand crank it down to feed, do any of the unloaders like this one let them selves down automaticly?
My grandfather's farm had two silos with Jamesway unloaders, they had a control unit with levers on them to raise and lower the unloaders. They would not lower themselves automatically though.

nor gotr No, they must still go up and adjust it. Then crank it down and rehook it at next opening.
