This and Beethoven's 9th 2nd movement bring me to a place I have no words for and my dog looks at me really concerned when I enter the zone during each of those. Best era for them but then Disintegration came out and I had to reevaluate, then another, another and another superb album and realized their entire era is phenomenal
The best song they ever did the sound is otherworldly it takes you drifting between other planes its a masterpiece that never ages yet so simple. Beethoven and Bach would be entranced and a feeling of wonderment im sure. Great comment you made very true.
The just don't let Jason off the leash anymore. Robert clamped down and started using a click after the disastrous 1998 Bizzare summer tour that was a shit show from him and others getting hammered. That put an end to any fun jamming, etc. Listen to the stuff from 97 and you'll hear a much looser yet better Cure. The Seattle show and the Irving Plaza shows come to mind.
Gallup's basslines are one of those things that made me fall in love with the instrument and pushed me to play it. It's still an exciting listening and an inspiration after 35 years since the first time.
Wow.... Amazing. Subtly different from every other live version... Definitely in the top 3.... You can hear he was on a good one... I looked it up n this was their last UK/Euro show before heading out to for U S. leg of the Wish tour..... (my first time seeing em once they got to l.a.) 🖤🖤🖤
Terrible weird version! For the ultimate live version of this classic Cure track, search “The Cure 1987 A Forest- Birmingham Perfect !!” on Adam Lipka’s channel!
A perfect version available on an Italian bootleg double cd issued in 1992 "and dreams comes true" but scarce to find in 2022
WOW!!!!! Never heard this version before LOVE

Essa canção me tras lembranças de pesadelos e traumas da minha infância.
A banda retrata muito bem através dessa canção indiscutivelmente atemporal.
