Just sent this as a community post, but for those here: I’ve gotten many comments about the Earthquake gag in my RPM videos and I wanted to know: Let me know your FAVORITE gags from my Power Rangers RPM content! It could be an audio gag, a visual gag, a joke placed one after the other, or just a recurring gag you remember! I’m currently working on a project and would love to hear your responses as it’ll help me out greatly LOL Use the POWER PLAYLIST in the video description to head back to the RPM series of videos as a refresher!
Earthquake gag was pretty funny to be honest. Idk why some would find it stale but I just find it interesting how there are so many similar explosions in Power Rangers so its nice to form a chain lol
I think why people love these characters is because this is supposed to be a serious show, yet these characters have such a positive attitude with everything it’s an amazing change to this show.
@ I know!! And as much as people hate them I find them a joy! It’s such a nice change of pace and to see the team in the end of the series look at them as they fade away and stare back at their enemy with a new “hatred” is amazing
They're childish because that's all they know. They were trained from their youth by a corrupt government to be living weapons, not adults. Being out of there and among other people who have had better upbringings helps develop them for the better, as we see during Ninja Steel. Gemma serves as the representative from RPM's dimension and conducts herself very maturely.
I think Linkara's analysis of them acting like children really fits because they do act like children but their characters are allowed change for the better.
Gem and Gemma were some of my favorite “6th” rangers from any series. Bonus points because their Sentai suits go HARD AF. Their mirror patent suits looked so freakin cool!
THE BOOM TWINS (I don’t know if the show calls and that, but that’s what me and my family has always called them) I love them both so much 😭 it was rough seeing Gemma without gem in the Ninja steel special 😭
@@HedgeOnStageRIGHT?! She felt so awkward 😭 don’t get me wrong. I was happy to see her along with koda Gia and Antonio but like Gem and Gemma I feel like a group of characters you just can’t split up for too long yes give them there own episode, which is what they did but they feel like a duo (kinda like let’s say Fitz and Simmons from AOS) you can’t have one without the other
Honestly extremely underrated 6th rangers. Really wish they would’ve done more with the Flynn/Gemma pairing…would’ve been nice to add to both if their characters
They were my favorite characters of the season. I would normally hate characters like these, all bubbly and overpowered, but these two just worked. When they got "erased" in the final battle, that was a genuinely striking moment. And Gemma kinda bad. I don't blame Flynn at all.
When I dropped DR. K I was getting comments of people fatigued from the Earthquake gag, so part of that might’ve kept it from my memory but its also been a month since the last RPM video so I must’ve LITERALLY forgotten the gag existed until you mentioned it LOLLLL
Funny how the original adaptation of them go-on wings from go-onger is hated but here they are loved just shows you guys that super Sentai isn’t always better then power rangers
I love these guys! They’re childish but can kill you if they want to. Don’t underestimate them. They have have gone through hell Gem is my favorite sixth ranger. I don’t know why I prefer him over Gemma (even before the incident) but I just love the guy so much. I like Gemma but unfortunately my aunt might have ruined her character for me because she told her actor I was broke and every time I rewatch RPM.. that memory just repeats for me.
Just like rpm vibe as a whole I like that there the complete opposite of their sentai counterpart. They ironically feel more like sentai characters then them
I hated them. They ruined (and frankly Ziggy too) ruined the serious tone I liked and made it feel like I was watching a show for preschoolers. I couldn't stand how they would disobey orders and go out on their own & go hog wild blowing shit up, endangering every plan Dr. K and the rest of the team made. They're like Michael Bay if he had kids.
They were raised in a lab with no outside interactions with humans unlike Dr K who had prior experience before being kidnapped for Alphabet Soup. Them acting like children is the point of their character, and pairing them with the mature natures of the Rangers helped to show them the things that are and aren’t okay. You’re entitled to not like them of course, I just wanted to bring perspective as to why they are how they are

Gem and Gemma Were One Of Those Power Rangers Siblings that everyone love besides Hunter And Blake,Vida And Maddison
There’s also Izzy and javi and Jayden and Lauren but ig ur only talking about the Disney seasons

They're actually 6th and 7th Rangers, although that distinction belongs to Doggy Kruger and the Omega Ranger first.
