Ben, you are seriously one of the most valuable assets to the bodybuilding and physique community! You always have something new and informative to share!
I'm so impressed with Ben b/c unlike most IFBB pros he is not using completely idiotic terms like "squeezing the muscle", but backs up all of his output with logic, common sense and science based data. I follow alot of guys like John Meadows, Shelby Starnes, Bret Contreras, Scott Stevenson and so on and you guys are a breath of fresh air in a sport full of meatheads! Thank you Ben!
jesus from fully shortening the muscles and utilizing hitting all plains of chest and back has totally changed my training 100 percent. best tips i have ever recieved
You had done one video already about chest, the part where you mention pectoral contraction in relation to the position of your elbow compared to the median of your body. I have to say, it blew my mind, and it has tremendously affected my chest training. I don't think so much about squeezing my hand anymore, but imagining where my muscle attaches and how i can reduce the gap in between. Inspiring in every way, thanks Ben.
This is the first video i've ever watched of Ben P...and i've instantly subbed. Truly insightly when it comes to such fine details of the human anatomy.
I watch A LOT of vids on lifting. This is one of the best tips I've gotten. Really appreciate the elbow piece. I thought it but to hear a pro say it makes a difference.
I seem to recall reading this sort of stuff on Jim Cordovas website a few years back. Both of you are some of the most intelligent and best bodybuilders around today and the information I've used from both of you has helped me improve my approach to weight training heaps!
sound's like a genius scientist ,because U have an explaination for every single movement U do and I completely understand and satisfied with it , May God bless U bro
You're the best Ben! I actually thought I knew a lot about fitness and weightlifting but then I found your channel! It feels like I'm learning so much, just from listening to your amazing tips! I kinda train my friends and try to be their mentor in the gym. With the knowledge I learn from you, I'm not only helping myself but also my friends! They learn to feel their muscels contract alot better!! I wouldn't be able to teach them without your videos! Thanks Bpak, you're the best!
saw you in a magazine and i searched you up and found this channel, i want to thank you for sharing great tips and experience of yours its really nice when big guys do that and give inspiration to others :)
By far the most affective knowledge I'm came across. Started training in those parameters and my chest and back have definitely have seen great results! Thanks for the knowledge B-Pak!
I always have a eureka moment when i watch any of bens videos. Ive been totally arching my back waay too much on pressing movements as well as some back exercises
as always great to get tips from u . ur training patterns and stradegy has given me new life in the gym .always eager to hit the gym on my workouts looking at ur vids and explaination and trying the difference. 1st i used to train weights . now i train smart . thanks bpak!
I have searched but cannot find video where discuss rotator cuff strengthening? I have couple of minor injuries to each side and I am excited to see if you do video on them in the future. You great example of strong and intelligent man. Luck be with you.
It's so amazing to watch the shift in bodybuilding to a place where science is used and form is science lol. Ben you are great, truly appreciate your work. MI40 changed my training and it was already started from a pretty decent base. Thanks!
Really amazing work you do man, as you mentioned in another video you don't have to do these vids but you just want to help out younger lifters.. so much respect bro, you're a cut above
excellent.Just started past few months an arnold franco technique as he says go to the 4th highest incline on the incline bench.Plus a lot of old time bodybuilders used to do pullovers these target chest theough the fullest range of motion.
you are really giving some thing which is logical and true advice, may god bless you for truly helping people like me who can not spend a lot on these kind of advice, but really wants to train in a correct manner
I have thought the same thing. People incline or shoulder press all this weight but they have a huge arch so that a 30° incline is essentially a flat bench and a shoulder press is more like a 45° incline.
ben i love all your videos...great and easy tips for everyone. concerning chest training, what are your views on reverse grip bench press for upper part of the chest muscle? thanks again for the short but complete explanation in your videos
Love ur vids, Ben, been using ur tips the past few months and I've been seeing some good improvements, especially on the triceps, can't do the bicep one though...
Love your channel and your videos ben! I've learned alot and improved my workout after watching most of your videos. thankyou for sharing your knowledge with us sir! :)
Simple yet effective logic behind this. Something so simple that its often over looked as you have said. For back training at the 90 degree angle maybe behind the neck pulldowns would be optimal or even pulling the bar down the top of your head? Of course engaging your elbows for the contraction......would this be correct ben? Great info btw
The shit this dude is talking about is gold! I've improved so much since I started to watch his videos! It's all it the details! Things you might not think about that can make a major difference!
I love you vids man very imformative and helpful, but question if your doing more than just the three main plains for chest how would you work out the sets and reps pre set?
Key point: Lat pull down arch through thoracic spine NOT lumbar spine (lower spine) 2:50
Where elbow aims is where you're working your back 4:40
