It’s obviously an awesome achievement to be the best in women’s but you can’t say best ever because men’s gymnastics have way better vaulters just because of genetics like you said.
Both of them are absolutely amazing, but the sheer distance Simone gets off the table is just obscene. She’s more than halfway across the mat at the end of her landing. Just incredible. And the massive height they both get off the table, just wow.
The difference between them is height vs distance. McKaylas height is bigger but Simone always got better distance. But that is also the difference in their individual heights. And I’m splitting hairs. They are both incredible vaulters.

Simone had great body position, height and distance too. Her landings were always precise and consistent. She's the best I've ever seen. McKayla had awsome power and height.
It’s 2024, right before the Paris Olympics, and 3 things are still true: 1. Simone is the Greatest of all Time. 2. Maroney deserved a perfect score for her London vault. 3. McKayla is STILL not impressed.
Both phenomenal vaulters. You can bet that it's easier to stick those landings when you're shorter to the ground and stout than to be taller and thin. For that reason, I say Marone is the better vaulter. She gets more height and she manages the handicap of her longer limbs.
She has the advantage of lines in the air and her vaults appearing higher. It’s a wash to me. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Simone continues to get better and she’s considered ancient. She’s still innovating. THAT makes her the better vaulter, IMO. 2 names after her that only she does.

Gosh, there’s idiots everywhere. With the strict rules, do you think she could just be taking random drugs? She has ADHD. Without her meds, she’s probably kill herself because of focus issues. I take adderall and I can assure you, it literally calms my brain so I can function without have 250 thoughts at one time. I was diagnosed at 39 and prior to that, I struggled to remember my bills, keep my home clean, find things and complete school. I struggled while in the army because I couldn’t focus on tasks. Caffeine gives most people energy, it’s a stimulant. For those of us with ADHD, caffeine is calming. I can drink it before bed and have no problems going to sleep. Get used to the fact that there will be a lot of black faces dominating the sport. It happens with every sport. We’re kept out for a long time. When we finally get in, we dominate them. It’s simply genetics. If it requires speed and power, we have a genetic advantage. West African genetics excel there. You only find East African in things like marathons and not west Africans, for a reason. We also age slower. Her dominance has nothing to do with her meds, but her genetics and she’s the perfect build for the sport. No different than Michael Phelps was built to swim. Your inferiority complex is showing. Also, it’s “Tokyo,” and “mysteriously.”
