Hi everyone! What did you think of episode 1? Are you excited to learn these procedural animations? I'm just so happy to be back and finally have something to share on this project after all these months. Can't wait to share more of the series 🍻Cheers!
want it so bad that from 5 years i leared about graphics 3d modelling but in this time waited for you to teach me animation jokes appart you are freaking best and really wanted to learn from you , guru ji
Oh, this is going to be awesome! Had been talking with friends about procedural animations lately and we all agreed that there needs to be a good tutorial series on this; it's just way too cool and adds so much life to a game. Awesome to see that you're tackling that! Absolutely looking forward to the next videos 💛
This is the next big step I need to learn. I need to handle multiple interactions in my game using IK for the hands and the fingers. I am kinda lost but eventually will get things right. Thank you for sharing
I definitely want to see more of these procedural animation series. I am very fascinated by procedural animation and when I am older I want to do something with it
I have been wanting to learn more about this topic as I have some ideas of a new game that will implement it to make it more realistic. Thank you for tackling this also I learned a lot from your state machine series and you have helped me make my own state machine better. So thank you so much.
That's so cool I've always wanted to know the best ways to approach this, I've been following your videos recently for character movement with statemachines and your content is great!
This is AWESOME ! If you're looking for your next topic, think about fight combat system with physics and collision in Unity. Because it's something that's missing in tuts universe. thank you bro !
Thanks so much! I actually considered and tried doing that originally but I ran into trouble trying to do it with the rigging package. I might need to talk to some people at Unity to see if it's even possible with this package.
I see a cinemachine camera in the Hierarchy. Did you set this up in a previous video? I want my high school students to be able to use this video for the Digital Cinematography class I will be teaching so I need to be able to assemble all the steps up to the start of the video.
Hi Garth! That is a cinemachine camera! I have a quite a few videos covering cinemachine already, specifically covering 3rd person movement. Movement isn't really the point of this series though, so it won't be covered. Just procedural animation.
@@iHeartGameDev I am just trying to set up the scene in the exact same way you have it set in the tutorial. I can probably figure it out but I am being lazy. FYI, you do great material.
hi there, im am wondering if you can make a video on when player picks up a weapon like a sword and a gun and that it aims in a certain direction using animation rigging? thank you.
omg this video is amazing and helpful🔥 but can you please make a video about ear clipping system for destruction(the method that rainbow six use for wall destruction) pleassssse
bro i need your help i can't find any tutorial (for mobile input). for like whenever i touch on pause button or joustick my camera motion(look around)also being affected
Hey @weckar, great to see ya! The total length of this series script is 25 pages. For context, my hierarchical state machine video is just 10 pages an is 30 minutes long, so it made sense for me to break this down into smaller bits for a new series. And because this is all based off of a single script, I'll be combining them all and releasing a single "FULL" tutorial. Hopefully the best of both worlds for people who don't mind getting it in separate chunks, and the longer video at the end!

The man himself has returned at last!!!

Without animation a game will be nothing. Thank you sir!
Finally! The anticipation for this has been killing me 🥳
Thank you for the patience! Same here! Can't wait to share parts 2 through 8!

Thank you for watching!
Loved the introduction and the full setup explanation.
Very curious to see what's next!
Also, the quality keeps getting better with each video :)
Hype!
HYPE!
This is great. Will you cover foot/leg procedural animation for uneven terrain?
Thanks so much! I actually considered and tried doing that originally but I ran into trouble trying to do it with the rigging package. I might need to talk to some people at Unity to see if it's even possible with this package.
Great intoduction!
Will you also cover stuff like a character being hit and stumbling back?
Currently finding a solution for that

Hey! Thanks for the enthusiasm! I don't know how to do the destruction though...
@@iHeartGameDev ☹
ok now i know how to install animation rigging, be back in 6 months to learn how to attach a sword to the hands and ill be ready for my aaa career!
Can i change my skinnedmesh but still have the ik ? Bc i even added ik to fingers 😢 im too lazy to do it again to all models
bro i need your help i can't find any tutorial (for mobile input). for like whenever i touch on pause button or joustick my camera motion(look around)also being affected
Is he from 29 Acacia Road ? Ever alert to the call to action ?
I hope if you may make a video about face animating in blender or by any method to use in unity, because i tried it & it doesn't work, thanks
COol, please continue
I will!
😍😍
I am first🎉
Will you ever do unreal Videos? I believe a of people made the switch to Godot or Unreal like me. I'm never going back.
I see what you're doing, but if all are going to be this short I genuinely think it would have done better as a single long video.
