It's not an imitation, you can tell she taught herself to sing with Whitney. Anyone bashing this woman tries to deny the fact that she's talented enough to do a great job covering Whitney, it's her inspiration and she can do her justice.

I love the idea of talented people keeping Whitney's memory alive, i love Whitney and i'd be mad if this woman was being disrespectful or a bad singer. I remember when Mariah debuted and people said she copied Whitney, Whitney said in an interview she didn't think that was the case, and people still insist on it decades later. I think she'd be flattered by this woman covering her songs so well.
@@Ciclopea2 Those who said Mariah copied Whitney are liars. Mariah worked very hard on her own music before she got a chance to record it. There are only slight similarities between WH & MC.
Glennis has a good voice, but the truth is that she always imitates Whitney when singing her songs. She even copies clothing, hair styles, things Whitney said to her audience, the handkerchief (Whitney often had with her), movements, the Merv. Griffin show intro of Whitney's very first TV performance, bringing her kid on stage when singing GLOA etc.
Just like there are people building up their career on being Elvis and other artist imitators, Glennis does the same thing with Whitney.
It's a tribute. Of course she's singing like Whitney! Duh. She's wonderful.
She gives effortless Whitney vibes. The way she sings/belts with vibrato, head voice. Even the way she talks. Love Glennis so much.

God is pleased to have transferred the same gift he once gave to whitney which, however, failed to keep ruining and losing all the magic of his voice! Now at a distance of years, Glennis has the same gift and power! the power of singing, the power through the voice to enter hearts and minds!
Before you post such harsh comments on Whitney, think about what caused her downfall!
Whitney had many very painful childhood and adult trauma's that pushed her towards numbing substances.😭 People kept violating her till the day she died and many vile scum are still doing it!😡😞
*Though Whitney had everything when it comes to talent and beauty, her personal life was a far cry from that.* 😭
*Whitney's addictions were the result of psychological traumas that started very early in her childhood and the immense pain she carried never ended!*
On the surface it seems like Whitney had it all, but as person she didn't. Whitney fought a long and very hard fight against her demons that she couldn't win!
*Substance abuse is an illness in Whitney's case and also millions of people suffering mental issues.*

- No one with mixed genes wants to be a victim of colorism 👉 Whitney was!
- No one wants to be the child of divorced parents 👉 Whitney was!
- No woman wants to go through several miscarriages 👉 Whitney did!
- No one wants to be the victim of mental and physical spousal abuse 👉 Whitney was!
- No one wants to be betrayed by her own family and friends 👉 Whitney was!
- No famous person wants to be relentlessly hunted and haunted by the media 👉 Whitney was!
*Also never forget that Whitney had a very demanding career that also had a major effect on her mentally, her voice and entire body!*
Whitney did 130 concerts for 'The Bodyguard Tour', Award show and other live performances, recording, work, countless interviews, photoshoots, and many other professional work in 1year and 4,5 months. That's just 1 world Tour!
Whitney recorded her very first solo song at the age of 15! She did background vocal for artist like Cissy Houston, Chaka Khan and others starting at the age of 14. Whitney worked as a model since the age of 16.
*Conclusion: Too many psychological traumas and an extremely demanding career caused Whitney's downfall and early death.*
