    Thanks for this gnome blocking tutorial. I have some Holst Garn Supersoft yarn and I have some nice colors, but this yarn is unwashed and needs blocking to make it soften up. I want to try it for a gnome, but was worried about blocking. Now I feel confident to give it a try.

      FYI, I also used Holst Garn Supersoft. I’ve just steam blocked and lightly sprayed my gnome and the colours most definitely ran 😢 So go very lightly on the steam.

    Do you think Karbonz can get wet? I assume there's glue between the shaft and the tips.

      Just saw this today! I don't like to plop any of my needles right in the water, but I'm slightly less fussy with Karbonz. I usually steam block, though, so I don't have a lot of data on submerging them.
