    Hi. Such an useful video. I am a mpharm graduate in India. I have 1.5 years of experience in formulation research and development and an year of experience in pharmacovigilance as a drug safety associate. I have to apply through 2 different NOC. Will I get PR through PNP? My CRS is 396 as of now

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  Год назад +1

      Thanks for your kind words! Well, it depends! The PNP requires you to have a job offer in Canada as one of the requirements from an employer who meets PNP requirements. If you can secure this I think you should be fine! All the best!

    Hello . I am a retail pharmacist and i have 5 years of experience . I did WES for masters in pharmacy to get my ECA.... is this wrong? Should i get my ECA from PEBC only? Plz reply

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  3 месяца назад

      That's a good question. You should get your ECA from an organization designated by IRCC to be accepted. WES is designated by IRCC for this purpose, so you should be fine.
      However, you still need to go through PEBC process to become licensed as a pharmacist in Canada.

    • @nour.7125
      @nour.7125 3 месяца назад

      @@clinicalpharmacycourse i dont think that getting it from WES is correct since it is mentionned in the govzrnment of Canada site that if i am a retail pharmacist with NOV 31120 i should get it from PEBC only.

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  3 месяца назад

      @nour.7125 it will work as a proof of education assessment. But as I mentioned before, to WORK in Canada, you need to go through PEBC process which includes an ECA anyway! So you did an extra step that will definitely help you in the future! The IRCC is the official organization for immigration and it mentions WES as a designated organization!

    Does a pharmacist need ECA from PEBC before applying for express entry or PNP?

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  10 месяцев назад

      Yes! The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) has been designated by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada to provide Educational Credential Assessments (ECA) for Principal Applicants applying under the “Express Entry for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class” for immigration to Canada and for whom Pharmacist would be the primary occupation. Please see the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website for more information.

      If you're applying for express entry under federal skilled worker program, you need at least 1 year of full time experience. Lack of experience will lead to immediate rejection of application. All the best.

    Doesn't the bachelor of pharmacy count as a masters in min 27:31 as we study it in more than 3 years? For example, in Egypt, Pharmacy is a 5 year school...Thank you!

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  Год назад

      Thanks for visiting the channel! Great question! If you graduate in Egypt with a Bachelor of pharmacy, then it counts as a bachelors degree in Canada. If you obtain a postgrad PharmD degree, that can count as a Masters degree in Canada. Some Countries have a dual program (Bachelor + MBA for example), which will also count as a Masters degree. I am not sure what does it say on your pharmacy degree from Egypt. It's basically what your graduation certificate will say! If it says Bachelors then it's a bachelors. Canadian immigration services will not evaluate your education, but they will match the information given by you in the application, and the information printed on your graduation certificate. So, if you apply for immigration, mention you have a masters degree, and submit a bachelors degree as proof of education, your application will get rejected because it won't match! Rejected applications are not refundable! All the best!

      @@clinicalpharmacycourse thank you for your reply, I understand what you're saying but it says in the options "professional degree needed to practice a licensed profession" ..so i guess Pharmacy is a master's and not a bachelors?

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  Год назад

      Oh, I get what you're talking about now! No, a bachelor of pharmacy will not be equivalent to a master because, this method is used to apply as a skilled worker. That means you have to apply for a license to practice pharmacy. When you do that (through PEBC) they will ask to evaluate your educational credentials via Educational Credential Evaluators. They basically send all your education certificates to them and they send a report saying what your credentials are equivalent to in Canada. So it will never say your Bachelor degree is equivalent to a Master degree, unless you really own a Master degree :) This report is then sent to the Immigration authorities to confirm your skilled worker credentials. I hope this explains it better :) All the best!

      @@clinicalpharmacycourse if you apply through PEBC, it counts as a masters

      You can always give it a try and see how the report comes back. If it's equivalent to a Masters degree that would be great as it would give you more points towards immigration! All the best!

      The minimum IELTS SCORE is different from one person to another depending on all the other factors. Use this tool to calculate your score. Make sure to use different IELTS scores while testing the tool to see what is your actual minimum score that would still pass you for immigration.

    Do you get work permit to do structured practical training?

    • @clinicalpharmacycourse
      @clinicalpharmacycourse  Год назад +1

      No, if you have to do practical training in a pharmacy, you get an intern license. You won't get that without at least being a permanent resident in Canada. A work permit requires someone to hire you, but the structured practical training is not work and most of the time you won't get any pay for it. All the best
