- Seeing Godzilla being easily whooped by Mechagodzilla, our butts have been hurt too, in our case, the cinema seats. Mechagodzilla seems inevitable in the movie. Well, for that reason, our channel has some thinking about it since last night and come up with few theories and soultions regarding Titans power on how to kill Mechagodzilla. Thanks to one of our fans who gave the idea in making this video. You can share your ideas in the comment section. We might just consider yours as well in the upcoming videos 😉😉

The most impressive thing about Ghidorah is the fact that he isn't specialized against Godzilla like the mutos and he can still take on him , and I think he would have a very good chance against Mechagodzilla too , who knows what his gravity beams could do against a robot , maybe overcharge it to a point where Mechagodzilla just burn out

I hope they introduce Destroyah as the final boss in the Monsterverse. If they make it as powerful as it was in the 1995 movie 'Godzilla vs Destroyah' in which it is the only kaiju that can ever take credit for killing Godzilla, I'm certain Destroyah will be more powerful than any other titan in the Monsterverse and more than capable of defeating Mechagodzilla.

Considering Godzilla was easily defeated by MechaGodzilla and Godzilla was shown on an ancient cave writing fighting Ghidorah for centuries with Godzilla being the notable victor in all battles.

Muto specializes in absorbing energy though, it takes time and a good biting grip for the Monster Zero to absorb energy that is as powerful as MG's power source. Mutos naturally absorb it anyway and even if that doesn't drain its energy, it can reuse this energy in an EMP that could take down MG.

Toho also has M.O.G.U.E.R.A., which was made with leftover parts of Mecha G. The design does need major updates to fit in to the Legendary universe.

@@TimothyMark7 When Mecha Godzilla was destroyed in one of the Japanese films, the humans gathered the leftover parts and created Moguera during the following film. Basically another robo kaiju (with 3 pilots). The plan, I believe, was to kill Godzilla with it. But a real villain arrived in the form of Space Godzilla, so Godzilla and Moguera's crew ended up working together.

I think this hypothesis is highly plausible, but the directors are trying to keep it as realistic as possible, so they would need to make a lot of changes to Destroyah to make it more realistic. It will most likely appear in future movies however

Adam Wingard stated that godzilla only fought kong at half power, and he used half his power fighting kong, but if godzilla never fought kong, Mechagodzilla would've been toast

That's not what he said. I read the entire thing in full context. Nowhere did Adam wingard say that Godzilla using his Attomic breath makes him physically weaker. I understand the misunderstanding if you watch the videos that push the narrative but Nowhere did he even say that it drained him by 50%. He never said that it drains his physical strength at all. He also never ever said that he used only half of his strength on Kong. That's suff that people are making up and pulling Adam's words out of context to push that narrative. Pleas read it yourself. Adam was talking about how Godzilla was physically weaker and how his stamina was down AFTER fighting Kong. He said that that his Attomic breath was weaker because he used it so much during the fight with Kong, and he used Godzilla shooting the hole as a brief example of how much he used his Attomic breath trying to kill Kong. He said that when Godzilla uses his Attomic breath a lot that it weakens his Attomic breath, not his own physical strength. So yes Godzilla's attomic breath was weaker when he was fight Kong but Kong has the axe to block it anyway, and it would have been a bad thing for Godzilla since it would have made his axe a lot more powerful. Adam also said that Godzilla would have been putting up a better fight against MechaGodzilla if he went in fresh but he also said that MechaGodzilla is built to kill Godzilla, and that the whole point of MechaGodzilla is that he is a better version of Godzilla that can kill him, mentioning how MechaGodzilla was beating up Godzilla in his first appearance in Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla. So Godzilla would have lost anyway, it just would have taken MechaGodzilla a longer time.

Good video! For a cybernetic being like MechaGodzilla, the MUTOs are definitely the most dangerous. My other pick would be King Ghidorah. Ghidorah feeds off many types of energy (e.g., radiation, electricity)-energy that powers MG. Secondly, MG is controlled by Ghidorah, so the OG Ghidorah likely just tells him to obey, and they’d join forces.
Especially since the head in control of MechaG is Kevin

I second Luna Anims, Adam Wingard clearly mentions in his interview that Godzilla fought Mecha G at probably his 10%. He fought Kong at his 50% and was completely exhausted after having created a new route from Hong Kong to Hollow Earth and laying the smack down on the Monke! So had Godzilla faced the Mecha while he was at 100% , power source from hollow earth or not that tin soldier would have been toasted!!

The MUTO’s wouldn’t be able to do anything to him though, they can briefly shut him down, but if you watch Godzilla and Kong trying to beat down on him, you’ll notice that no damage is ever inflicted until the axe gets charged up, so while the MUTO’s could disable him, they have no way of damaging him further, and they can only use their emp so many times, so there’s no way the MUTO’s, or MUTO Prime, could defeat him.
Well maybe not the normal Mutos but Muto Prime is possibly strong enough to destroy him. Would be interesting.

The emp was not designed to weaken godzilla's atomic breath. Because an emp deactivates electrical machines not radiation. Godzilla’s atomic breath was only weakened in the novel because he was bio-electric there but in the films and novels that came afterwards he became Bio-Atomic. And that of the energy of the Hollow Earth being transformed into electrical energy, you took it out of nowhere.
But they said it in the movie. They got an sample, and got the guys at the HQ to copy it.
Which honestly didn't make any sense to me when I watched it. MechaG wasnt able to power his beam without shutting down. So they got a sample from Hollow Earth and then... Kong destroyed it. So how can they just replicate what they don't have?

Just had a debate about the EMP's the MUTOS can emit. For it to power down the Atomic Breath for the Godzilla species makes no logical sense given the very definition of what EMP is. For it to effect anything that's organic and doesn't rely on electricity must mean there's something more to their EMP ability that was never properly explained. The movie never mentions the EMP effecting the Atomic Breath. Only the novel and Gareth Edward himself.
Maybe it was a indirect affect from them evolving to combat the Godzilla species. The emp effect on technology that is.

If burning Godzilla was in GVK there would be no fight scenes
While the Muto's might be able to best Mecha G, that'd be entirely reliant on their EMPs shutting it down entirely and since it was only momentarily effected by the control panel being destroyed I think it might be able to still fight back. And if he fights back he'd destroy any base Muto. Prime on the other hand is one of the Titans I think could straight up beat Mecha G in an all out fight if they are going in at full power, the other two being Ghidorah and Godzilla.

The Muto Prime may or may not can emit EMP. It is never once implied that it can do such a thing in Aftershock. Most likely, the MUTO would've evolved to their PRIME state and create a Sonic Roar that can shatter the Godzilla species' dorsal plates making the Atomic Breath unfunctional.

Basic problem with the MUTO/EMP theory: Mechagodzilla was designed to fight Titans, so Apex would presumably have hardened MG's electronics against EMPs with the MUTOs in mind.

Here are my lists of Titans that could destroy Mecha-Godzilla in the MonsterVerse:
1. Godzilla Full Strength (GVK)
2. Ghidorah
3. Kong (GVK With Charged Battle Axe)
4. MUTO Prime
5. Hokmuto and Femuto (2014)
Let's also not forget how much durability the Mecha Titan lacks. A Kong with a charged Axe could dismember it's limbs easily, where else earlier in his fight against Godzilla the Axe had double the charge and only pierced Godzilla's left thigh at best.
Adam wingard said that the fight would have been more back and forth between Godzilla and MechaGodzilla but MechaGodzilla is still built to kill Godzilla. He even mentioned the whole point of MechaGodzilla is to destroy Godzilla, using the original film "Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla" as an example, pointing out how MechaGodzilla was beating Godzilla senseless.
@@bruhmoment6014 I would like a link to that if you don't mind. I ask because I've been hearing many things about what Adam Wingard says with no actual proof. From Adam saying Godzilla would've defeated or done better against MG had he not fought Kong or drilled his Atomic Breath into the Hollow Earth to Kong submitting the moment he dropped his Axe. I'll search for such comments made by the director yet to no avail.
Despite the fight going back and forth and the knowledge Mecha-Godzilla has on Godzilla there is still that chance he could defeat Mecha-Godzilla. Not from the point I made that the mecha Titan isn't that durable, but what the official novel implies as well.

1. Muto EMP: In theory, in practice it largely depends on if Mecha Godzilla had EMP shielding installed in it at the time of the fight. Given that Apex was aware of the Mutos (4 if you count Muto Prime), it largely is depending at the time of construction in the movie if it had EMP shielding in place or not. Beyond this, the control panel being within the range of the EMP is up to question, as they never stated the max range between the central control panel and Mecha Godzilla
2. Muto Prime: Same with the EMP shielding, although looking at the sonic roar and raw physical power it would really depend on several factors. How 'groggy' Muto Prime was from hibernation, and how effective Mecha Godzilla's weaponry could handle the encounter. In a stand up fight, I would agree that Muto Prime would probably win this, but given how it's killed in the comics, i'd say that Apex would likely attempt to distract Muto Prime during the fight.
3. Yeah, no way Mecha Godzilla would win this one. As you stated, during this time Godzilla seemed to be completely invulnerable, and was giving off enough heat to melt blocks miles away. And the blast basically flash fried Ghidora without much effort whatsoever. Sadly this is probably the only time we'll see Burning Godzilla... unless we see a Destroyer in the future (which is possible, as one of the weapons they were developing was the Oxygen Destroyer)
Beyond this, King Ghidora could likely stand a solid chance, as it was able to push back Godzilla under normal circumstances. The major thing about it seems to be that Mecha Godzilla was just a mindless destroyer at the point of the fight, not really even doing much tactical fighting as much as just overpowering it's opponents. it could be said it was 'stupid' as Ghidora had 3 heads, and it was entirely possible that Ghidora was the sum of its parts. Fun to theorize though.

I’d throw both Ghidorah and Rodan into this mix as contenders simply because of their mobility. Missiles would not really affect them and a talon based dive attack would hit mecha g with such absurd force that he couldn’t stand up to it.
Also, ghidorahs gravity beams might not overpower that laser, but three different blasts couldn’t be avoided. Ghidorah also was heavier, and physically stronger than Godzilla fresh off a heavy nuclear charge
