This is some sick stuff! I really liked your style and the overall mood of your video. Now, you used A7Siii and BM 6K Pro. What is your thought on the image quality of these two cameras? Which one do you like better? I personally like 6k pro better, as it gives that cinematic look. A7Siii is super creamy and sharp, almost too sharp. I think for some feature film, 6k pro would be the best choice. A7siii's image is suitable for commercial or interviews where you need that clean and sharp footage.

I prefer using the BMPCC on cinematic projects because of that organic look. There's just something about the BMPCC that makes it special.
The A7siii does have a sharper overall image. Ive tried knocking down that sharpness with pro mist filters but feel like its harder to achieve that soft organic look that the BMPCC accomplishes so effortlessly.

@@ReecePottorff Thanks for getting back. As you mentioned about the "organic look" of the BMPCC, I noticed that too. The edge and pixels of BM are blurred more and almost have this fringing / antialiasing effect. It's hard to describe what the organic look is. But it's just so good to watch.
Sony on the another hand has a very clean and sharp image. I find not so beautiful to look at especially for landscape scenes where the contour of the mountain and the tree leaves are too sharp and digital looking. But that look can be useful for commercial product or interviews.
Putting on a mist filter will probably just soften the image, but it still doesn't give you the BMPCC look. It's not only the softness. I tried to blur Sony image in post, it looked better, but not the same as the BMPCC.
Did you also use mist filter on the BM shooting this video?

@@lulumink0 I did use a pro mist on the BMPCC for some extra Halation around the windows, but I think the image also looks great without the pro mist.

@@ReecePottorff nice! Does the lens IS work with the pocket 6k pro? If I remember correctly, awhile ago it wasn’t working with the 6k. Just wondering if that has been fixed since then.
