Honestly, I was surprised by how much I love the a6700. If it had better heat management it would replace my FX30 in my daily rotation as my C cam. In a pinch I could definitely run my whole production business on a6700s, although I would need to get external heat management systems for all of them (new v3 Ulanzi system with replaceable batteries is perfect and cheap), and I would definitely miss the better noise performance on my full frame cameras in tricky lighting situations (a7IV, FX3 and a7s III). But even though I can't use it very often for client work, I think it's the camera I love the most right now in stable. Just a pleasure to use. That AF is insanely good to work with as well, especially when people are making weird shapes with their body in the gym, the a6700 is the only camera I have that I basically never need to switch into MF.
@@fofopho totally agree. It’s so fun to use and the results are great. I have the ulanzi fans and they work great! And yesss the auto focus is crazy. I just recently switched my AF to 5 (Full Responsive) and it hit difffferentttt
I'm with you on this video bro. I copped the a6700 about a month ago and tbh I feel like it smokes other cameras that are more expensive and I can't see a need for anything more than this for the majority of people. Full frame is highly overrated unless you have work that requires it.
Yo!!! Spoken like a Blackbelt. Although I know nothing besides pointing and shooting with my phone, I own a Canon 70D that I literally only used 3-5 times a most. Now I want to learn how to shoot and edit both video and pictures but from all the videos I’ve seen my camera is antiquated… I’m going to keep my 70d but really interested in R6 Mark 2 which I think might be replaced in 90 days or so… I also just bought Final Cut to start my little journey. Either way if you have any pointers I’ll appreciate it, thx a lot Brethren, 👊🏾🦁🦁🇳🇬🇺🇸
@@ayo30s Aye!! You can make great images with any camera these days! A good lense and good lighting goes a long way. Glad you’re starting your creator journey! Hit me up on Instagram if you need any help man!
I believe it depends on the kind of work. I start my business with a 6700 last year and went from that camera to zve1 and a7c2. Recently sold the a6700 as it cant keep up with my client's work. (mostly events and wedding, both vid and pg) But yea i believe unless u are a event photographer/videographer, 6700 would be sufficient for 95% of the jobs. Only other photographer and videographer looks at your gear xD clients wont know the difference!
@@fphinsoh7597 I totally agree. Especially if you’re doing a lot of video zve1 would be better. I’ve been torn on the a7c2 though. I’m gonna rent it soon and do a comparison to the a6700 in my uses in sports photography
@ I’m just messing w you dog. I had the canon R7 before I started my production company and now I’m looking to sell it or just use it for vlogs and such
My main photography camera is the A6700. I love it!

Before i wacht, i will give you my reason... BIG HOLLYWOOD FILMS were shot on super 35. that is the same size as my APS-C.
Ahhh YUP ! Great point for sure. Film emulation is very popular now too!
Excellent job! Love that fx30 sensor 🔥🔥

Mann you hit it right on the head bro. It’s really consumerism at this point with the camera brands and RUclips camera community.

In todays world the high end crop gives the mid range full frame a run for its money ive shot with fuji xh2s and a7iv
@@carlkindo6595 100%. I’ve never shot with Fuji i would love to tho. Especially with those film emulations.
