I have to agree with your critique on the reverb. That said, I really do love these guys. They have so much talent within their ranks! I don't know if you have already checked them out, but if not, you should look into Dreamcatcher. The way I see it, they are basically two sides of a unique coin. Same team dynamics as far as talent and the well timed use of their members. It's very impressive to me how both groups care so much about their lyrics having deeper meanings. Yet like you have said, they transcend language barriers with their sound. Which is so important for a rather language locked industry such as K-pop. Their songs are definitely designed to give you the feels or make you think. Excluding the catchy "I'm awesome and I know it!" as well as the always hyped "Bite me haters." songs of course. Though don't get me wrong, I more than appreciate those as well lol. (I probably should have checked to see if you have reviewed Dreamcatcher before writing this, huh? My bad. I'm tired lol)..... Also, for the fans who may be reading this, please don't take my unbiased nature for disloyalty. I can't put all my Easter eggs in one k-pop basket. I love Stray Kids oh so much, I do. But.... that whole all for one outlook isn't a possibility for people in my line of work. One thing I feel sorry is that their pronunciation is REALLY good, but you can't catch that. (I think there is a professional way to describe it, but I am no professional.) Usually I don't care abt lyrics, coz unless I pay attention, I cannot catch what they are saying.
