Why is the call to Salafi the only way to true Islam? I have since I have excepted Islam 18 years ago have seen nothing but turmoil and strive who follow a certain way. How can they say they follow the salafi but disagree with notable scholars and imams who were masters of this Deen? I’m so confused with that dawah and pray Allah guide those who are blinded by it.

He added, 'Then will come some people who will make vows but will not fulfill them; and they will be dishonest and will not be trustworthy, and they will give their witness without being asked to give their witness, and fatness will appear among them.' @@xander583the 4 Madhabs basically aim to follow the Sunnah and the Salaf, with their founders being part of the salaf themselves. Those who think deeply and realise this realise this argument doesn’t make sense. I can be following Malik Fiqh and still follow the salaf according to the methodology of Imam Malik / the school of Madinah. Whilst blind following is bad salafis do that anyway since they’ll only take the opinions of Sheikh Al Albani, Sheikh Uthaymeen, Sheikh Bin Baz, Sheikh Al Fawzan, May Allah preserve them. If follow an opinion just becasue Sheikh Bin Baz said so then that’s also Taqleed. You cannot escape Taqleed truly unless you become a polymath and start your own Madhab.
I used to believe in salafism but not anymore. What did salafism brought to the Ummah? Terrorists like Isis and book haram, Fitnah, disunity, division among the Ummah, hatred, suicide bomb... There was no suicide bombing until saudi made salafism came.
“Salafies” pretend like they follow the salaf but in reality their founder is Mohammad Wahab, they follow him and nowadays people like Madkhali. We follow imam Abu Hanfa who is literally from the 2nd generation, aka salaf. But they follow some modern day scholars then call themselves salaf.
Deobabd is a Madrasah where people study Islam, just like university of Madena! They don’t become a sect cuz they went to a certain university. Deoband has many thousands of people that are on the Sunnah of the prophet (saw)!

I am not Hanafi nor from the sub-continent so automatically I don't subscribe to their two schools that split there (deos and Barels) but why do psuedo-Salafis believe only they follow the Salaf? I'm sorry for saying this but Ahlu Sunnah didn't begin 200 years ago. Sunnis existed before them and have always been the majority and they are still to this day. They still follow the pious predecessors (Salaf al-Salih). Before aligning with a particular madhab. I looked into the evidences from the Ash'aris and Salafis. They told me Ash'aris are ilm al-kalam. They don't know hadith or Athar. They deny the attributes of Allah. They are this and that. When I sat down with them. They presented me nothing but authentic Athar dismantling the aqidah of pseudo-Salafis and they dismantled the false Athar pseudo-Salafis showed me proving their inauthenticity or lack of comprehension. I realized that it's actually pseudo-Salafis who deny the attributes of Allah while Ash'aris affirm all of them. The vast majority of hadith scholars (ahl al-hadith) were Ash'aris. After, looking into the truth. I realized Ash'aris are the people of hadith, people of athar and people of reason. The real authentic unorthodox Sunni Muslim are the Ash'aris. I also realized pseudo-Salafis are the people of innovation, people of fabrication and people of tashbih. Brothers, do your research and don't believe in this petro dollar propaganda that has recently been propagated in the mid 20th century. Follow what majority of scholars (throughout history) and Muslim lands are upon and believe me. This is when you uncover haq.
This! I myself got out of the small circle of pseudo salafiyyah a few years ago, when I realised and saw the bigger picture! It surely opens your eyes.
I am not Ash’ari my aqeedah is athari but I do not follow the pseudo salafis. The thing folks don’t talk about is athari, ashari, maturidi at its root is the same belief just a different approach. Literally an ashari (Ibn jawzi) wrote one of the most comprehensive books on asma wasiffat that atharis use for evidence of their approach to the attributes of Allah.
May Allah preserve the Sheikh and guide us to the Siraat, as Sheikh Ibn Uthaimeen RA said : "Find evidences first, then build your aqeedah on it, but don't build a aqeedah first then trying to find evidences, you will surely be misguided". Remember the Muslims in your duaas whenever you can.
I don't agree with Shamsi. However, Shamsi is clearly doing something different. He's giving dawah in public. That public space is not attributed to a deviant group. However, a masjid is attributed to a specific dawah. So giving dawah there could make it seem as though you agree with their deviations. This is the confusion they're trying to avoid. However, I understand the other position, that the harms are very little, if any. And that giving dawah and exposing the people to Ahlul Sunnah dawah is far better than abandoning the masjids. But still, Shamsi is not doing the same thing and the differences have a significant impact on the ruling. Secondly, he's giving dawah to the deviants. Not with the deviants. Another difference. And think about this point when reflecting on the verse Abu Usama quoted along with the Salaf who used it. No one from the Salaf said you can't go to a place where the deviants are and refute them. Come on, the Prophet did this very thing. You have to be just when claiming he's contradicting his methodology. Debate is not dawah, and speakers corners is a place of debate. A debate is only Ulema (Rightly guided scholar) who has spent 8 years minimum of life accruing DEENI ELM in a madrasa WHICH IS CONNECTED TO THE TIME OF THE Prophet Muhammad saw. TIME
The innovators don't need dawah, they need clarification about the difference between us and them which is why the scholars say salafi sheikhs should not give lectures in mosque of innovators unless for purpose of refutation and calling them back to the true way.
Some Years back Salafee were mocking at Zakir Naik, debating is not the way of Salaf, he was labelled as deviant. I am surprised, same people stooped so low arguing like Juhaal.. In Islamic countries - they print dawah material for Malls, public places. Nobody barks on streets

I do not know this sheikh. But i do know Debate is not the way to do dawah. Specially when people are lying or saying ill things in that place. The Quraysh hated Islam much like the west does. Because Quraish would loose much of wealth and their business of pagans if they became Muslims. That was the fear. Their shayk suleyman ar-ruhaily attended a conference in may 2023 in morocco where he gave a speech and next to him sat ashari scholars and grave worshippers and he hugged them and treated them as if they where best friends.

Going speakers corner and going to the Mosque of innovators is not the same thing. 1 is a public platform for debate. 1 is a mosque led by innovators. The layman muslims will take knowledge from innovators if they see they're own teacher's sitting with them. Not going to a mosque led by innovators is a protection for the layman.

The true manhajj is the TWO WEIGHTY MATTERS set by our prophet of mercy, Hadith Thaqalayn: تفسير القرآن العظيم، ج12، ص271ابن كثير الدمشقي أن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قال في خطبته بغدير خم: إني تارك فيكم الثقلين كتاب الله وعترتي وأنهم لم يفترقا حتى يردا عليّ الحوض الصحيح الرواية صحيحة السند Tafseer al-Quran al-Azeem for Ibn Katheer in vol:12 pg:271 reports the hadith and says the narration is sahih and the sanad is sahih the Messenger of Allāh, peace be upon him, said in his sermon at Ghadīr Khumm: “I am leavingbehind over you the Two Weighty Things (al-thaqalayn): the Book of Allāh and my offspring. Verily, both shall never separate from each other until they meet me at the Lake-Fount.” That is our pathway.

Shamsi himself said that Shamsi is no one and to go read the books yourself which teach you what Islam is. Quran, tafsir by Ibn Kathir, works by Tamiyyah. Riyaadh us Salaheen. 40 Hadith, bukhari. He said once you read these, you’ll know who is wrong and right. This advice is solid like a rock. Take his advice and then come back and look at these popular people on RUclips. What do the dead have to gain from this dunya compared to these popular people alive ?
In reality laymen can’t actually read any of these books apart from the 40 Hadith. You need to sit with a scholar to understand them. These aren’t books for laymen. It’s not good advice to give to the average Muslim. Ulema have warned against going to Bukhari directly since it is impermissible for the laymen to make ijtihad. He is sinful even if he’s right in his ijtihad.

I can be following Malik Fiqh and still follow the salaf according to the methodology of Imam Malik / the school of Madinah.
Whilst blind following is bad salafis do that anyway since they’ll only take the opinions of Sheikh Al Albani, Sheikh Uthaymeen, Sheikh Bin Baz, Sheikh Al Fawzan, May Allah preserve them. If follow an opinion just becasue Sheikh Bin Baz said so then that’s also Taqleed. You cannot escape Taqleed truly unless you become a polymath and start your own Madhab.
I used to believe in salafism but not anymore. What did salafism brought to the Ummah? Terrorists like Isis and book haram, Fitnah, disunity, division among the Ummah, hatred, suicide bomb... There was no suicide bombing until saudi made salafism came.
“Salafies” pretend like they follow the salaf but in reality their founder is Mohammad Wahab, they follow him and nowadays people like Madkhali. We follow imam Abu Hanfa who is literally from the 2nd generation, aka salaf. But they follow some modern day scholars then call themselves salaf.

I am not Hanafi nor from the sub-continent so automatically I don't subscribe to their two schools that split there (deos and Barels) but why do psuedo-Salafis believe only they follow the Salaf? They don't know hadith or Athar. They deny the attributes of Allah. They are this and that. When I sat down with them. They presented me nothing but authentic Athar dismantling the aqidah of pseudo-Salafis and they dismantled the false Athar pseudo-Salafis showed me proving their inauthenticity or lack of comprehension. I realized that it's actually pseudo-Salafis who deny the attributes of Allah while Ash'aris affirm all of them. The vast majority of hadith scholars (ahl al-hadith) were Ash'aris. After, looking into the truth. I realized Ash'aris are the people of hadith, people of athar and people of reason. The real authentic unorthodox Sunni Muslim are the Ash'aris. I also realized pseudo-Salafis are the people of innovation, people of fabrication and people of tashbih. Brothers, do your research and don't believe in this petro dollar propaganda that has recently been propagated in the mid 20th century. Follow what majority of scholars (throughout history) and Muslim lands are upon and believe me. This is when you uncover haq.

I am not Ash’ari my aqeedah is athari but I do not follow the pseudo salafis. The thing folks don’t talk about is athari, ashari, maturidi at its root is the same belief just a different approach. Literally an ashari (Ibn jawzi) wrote one of the most comprehensive books on asma wasiffat that atharis use for evidence of their approach to the attributes of Allah.
May Allah preserve the Sheikh and guide us to the Siraat, as Sheikh Ibn Uthaimeen RA said : "Find evidences first, then build your aqeedah on it, but don't build a aqeedah first then trying to find evidences, you will surely be misguided". Remember the Muslims in your duaas whenever you can.
I don't agree with Shamsi. However, Shamsi is clearly doing something different. He's giving dawah in public. That public space is not attributed to a deviant group.
However, a masjid is attributed to a specific dawah. So giving dawah there could make it seem as though you agree with their deviations.
This is the confusion they're trying to avoid.
However, I understand the other position, that the harms are very little, if any. And that giving dawah and exposing the people to Ahlul Sunnah dawah is far better than abandoning the masjids.
But still, Shamsi is not doing the same thing and the differences have a significant impact on the ruling.
Secondly, he's giving dawah to the deviants. Not with the deviants. Another difference. And think about this point when reflecting on the verse Abu Usama quoted along with the Salaf who used it. No one from the Salaf said you can't go to a place where the deviants are and refute them. Come on, the Prophet did this very thing. You have to be just when claiming he's contradicting his methodology.

I think you misunderstood my point. This isn't regarding any kind of copyright but more so about basic adab and manners. It's an obligation that when we quote someone, we quote them accurately, without adding or taking away anything. The quote in this case was a direct video of the Shaykh talking about an issue, yet the original video of the Shaykh was edited to add a picture of Shamsi when Shaykh wasn't using any names, to save further fitnah. If the Shaykh was contacted prior to doing this and he allowed it, then it's all good.
I do not know this sheikh. But i do know Debate is not the way to do dawah. Specially when people are lying or saying ill things in that place. The Quraysh hated Islam much like the west does. Because Quraish would loose much of wealth and their business of pagans if they became Muslims. That was the fear. Tafseer al-Quran al-Azeem for Ibn Katheer in vol:12 pg:271 reports the hadith and says the narration is sahih and the sanad is sahih
the Messenger of Allāh, peace be upon him, said in his sermon at Ghadīr Khumm: “I am leavingbehind over you the Two Weighty Things (al-thaqalayn): the Book of Allāh and my offspring. Verily, both shall never separate from each other until they meet me at the Lake-Fount.”

Shamsi himself said that Shamsi is no one and to go read the books yourself which teach you what Islam is. Quran, tafsir by Ibn Kathir, works by Tamiyyah. Riyaadh us Salaheen. 40 Hadith, bukhari. He said once you read these, you’ll know who is wrong and right. This advice is solid like a rock. Take his advice and then come back and look at these popular people on RUclips. What do the dead have to gain from this dunya compared to these popular people alive ?
In reality laymen can’t actually read any of these books apart from the 40 Hadith. You need to sit with a scholar to understand them. These aren’t books for laymen. It’s not good advice to give to the average Muslim. Ulema have warned against going to Bukhari directly since it is impermissible for the laymen to make ijtihad. He is sinful even if he’s right in his ijtihad.
