This is by far one of the best postcard videos out on RUclips today. This is exactly what everybody needed in the postcard world. This is absolutely perfect. This is exactly how I'm going to do it. It works exceptionally well for you it will hopefully work exceptionally well for me. The best part is how you group everything together. Thanks again for everything.
Thats the great thing about cards, They Are Fast. I like your method very efficent I personally use templates and takes around 45 seconds a card without price research
A few years ago, I sold a concert programme on ebay. It was just a single-page homemade typewritten sheet for a music concert in a small church in the 1960s. After the listing ended, I received a msg saying they'd missed the end of the auction and would I be relisting it. I assumed this must be a relative or someone local to the church, so I relisted the item at £1.99 with best offer. The original listing was £2.99, but if the person was connected personally to the event, I wanted them to have it at a good price for them, so I dropped the price. The buyer sent me an offer for £5. I accepted it as I didn't want to offend them by saying, hey, you should have it cheaper, but I felt a bit bad. It just shows that people value things differently and the buyer will pay what they genuinely consider the item is worth to them personally if given the opportunity to choose a price.
Boerne Texas, it's German and pronounced Bernie (like Weekend at Bernie's :) (58:04). Thank you for this video, I will be adding several of your suggestions. I feel like I list sooo slow, even though I have been at it over a year, but I also probably put too many item specific in and double & triple check for mistakes.
This was an amazing useful video. Thank you for this gift. Do you print out 100 SKU numbers at once on labels? Would love to see how you get the cards ready before this process. Put them in sleeves after scan?
I buy my labels from a seller on eBay, they’re about $0.01 each that way. Much easier than doing them myself. I sleeve and label them after the listings are live, but it wouldn’t hurt to do it earlier, either.
Thank you Daniel!! I've been doing this method for the past few days and it's been a game-changer. Once I let go of my OCD-ness to fill in every item specific perfectly and precisely, I've been able to greatly speed up my listing time.
Thanks for this video Daniel. I'm always looking for ways to speed up my process. One question for you: When you are selecting your two photos to drop in for each item, what key(s) are you using to drop them in? I think you use a Mac (I do as well). I drag the two photos which is obviously slower. I see you have the two photos selected inn your folder, but then what what are you doing to paste them into the eBay viewer and saving before you advance to the next item? Thanks!
When I click upload photos it takes me to the image selection screen and puts me in the last folder I opened…from there I hold the command key, click once on the first image, and double click on the second image. This then starts the process of uploading them to eBay. Hope that makes sense.
Great video as always. I list my cards basically the same way with the exception of researching. I usually put aside one day just for researching and pricing cards. I put them in sleeves with sticky note, then when I list I can take 50, 100 or more and start lsting. It does take more time because I have to remove from sleeve to scan photos but it makes it easier for me. I enter all the pricing at one time too. $4.95 enter, $7.95 enter, $19.95 enter and so forth. As long as my postcards are in the right order. I put the sku # on the sticky note with the price.
This is basically what i do, but save the 1st one as a draft then it is always there, then just copy it for however many i am listing. But i have been filling in the item specifics for the suggested items. But you can bulk edit them for the most part. I do like your idea of see title, that would save some time.
Last question: Do you create a new sample (DRAFT) listing EVERYTIME you get ready to list 100 cards or do you save that sample listing in your drafts to use over and over again?
I believe that is only a recommended item specific for the non-topographical postcard category - correct me if I’m wrong. For the few that I list, I do put the postmark date or best guess at manufacture date.

That’s great!
Thanks!
This info on listing faster has really helped me. I couldn’t have figured this out on my own.
Thank you so much! Happy to help.

@@mailseum Yep, that worked. Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your system. You are very generous with your knowledge.

Really great video Daniel! I am a little scared of you now! 😂 J/K

Yep, I just create a new draft every time I get ready to list
Do you go in each listing and add the manufactured date or do you use a generic date?

Also Tennille like Captain and and Tennille. Aaww never mind before your time!😂
Hi, what is your ebay store called?
It’s Mailseum
Thanks! You're a smart guy! ❤
I wonder if your buyer who offered $75 wasn't a 'watcher' so he never received the 'offer' you had sent out...
