I have three pairs of them. Canyon, Hereford ( rough out ostrich), and the Nashville. I Love em. They fit me spot on. 10 hour days are comfortable. They have leather heel counters. Used to be on their website until they upgraded it.
I have been thinking about getting some Capitan Boots. They recently changed their model names though. They did have one called The Lubbock and I liked it, but now it is gone. I have been wondering about their sizing, so I am glad you did a review.
I have a pair of their shrunken shoulder boots that i got on sale for $120 about a year ago. I agree with you about not being worth $300+ unless an exotic skin but a great buy around $150. Mine have pegs and nails though so hopefully they arent trying to skimp on quality now by ditching those on their recently made boots. Also, for anyone looking at their square toe boots, for some reason they just look abnormally wide to me even for wide square toe. Wider than most other brands I've ever seen, so keep that in mind when buying.
Thanks for commenting and letting us know. It’s interesting the justins wide square toe I just did a video on before this one I feel like they were abnormally wide as well.
I have a pair of the Tulsa in a brown color that I got last year. I believe they were on sale then also. They were a reasonable price and I like the cutter toe. I just got a pair of Hyer Hays this week. They have a wider cutter toe. I got those on sale also.
i sold shoes for many years. i sold ALL Major brands of western style boots at Altmans in Chicago. and for them to be called "cowboy" boots is a joke. dude learn the difference and true definition of western boots..

Interesting to see a pair and review. As you have said, their name hasn’t come up much in the FB groups. Good to see a video from you my man.

Very good boots I have 2 pairs
4:42 thats why i stopped buying lucchese. They still use the lemon wood peg method for their more expensive boots.
I was never much of a fan of a different color between the boot leather & the sole unless it's patterned in a cool manner
Lionel what jeans do you wear? Or what jeans are you wearing in this video? Thanks.
In this video I’m wearing the wrangler 20x jeans.
What's the crease/shaping of your cowboy hat called.
How are they on sizing? Do they run comparable to say a horse power ?
I would say a little tighter but I’m sure they will break in fine but definitely won’t be instant comfort as the horsepower’s are.
what horse power model are your brown boots?
