Lots of comments regarding the “proper amount” of grease. IMO some of the people that have commented on this are overthinking it. Any “extra” grease will simply be squeezed out. The only area that I make sure to use a very light coat is on the barrel lug. The video itself is excellent. I humbly disagree with putting grease on the ejector face but to each their own.

I use cotton buds for cleaning the pivot area, I use an artist brush to spread the grease . does it need some on the ejector cut outs? every thing else is what I do . great vid

Yes, great tip. The guys in the workshop use a brush to apply the grease, but in the video we were showing a general application with a finger, as it's something most people will have handy - pun intended :)

Hi, good point. But we're just covering the gun assembly on this video. We do have another video on barrels and choke tubes here - ruclips.net/video/ddxt8D_nSno/видео.html

You apply oil to the chokes, not grease.

That’s a lot more grease than I’d use to be fair, a little moly grease goes a very long way. Less is more chaps. Great vid non the less.😉👍

Fair point, I'm sure using less is fine. I was just conscious of it showing up on the footage to clearly show where it goes. Thanks for the feedback :)

@@alanrhonemedia not a criticism at all, you guys do fantastic work and these vids are a great addition to what I consider the best in the business Kreighoff UK 💪 I wouldn’t shoot or use any other manufacturer/company! ❤️

Thats actually about perfect just the correct amount applied, just because you apply less means nothing, I would go with Dave any day being the professional expert he is.

@@garybalasa3158 if you read what Dave said, he used more so it could be seen on the video. You genuinely don’t need a lot as it’s just a waste, thin smear across the surface, plus you should be cleaning it off after every shoot anyway. If you want to use more fill your boots sunshine 😉

@@CraigK80 as a gunsmith that is about the amount I apply especially to new custom units, but hey you want to use less go for it, I tend to work on the strategy that a bit more is better than less we are after all splitting hairs.
