    Can they just freeze the rest of your eggs for future donation instead of going to the same risky process again 6 times?

    • @Iamtierrahogan
      @Iamtierrahogan  7 лет назад +1

      Good question. So they don't freeze your eggs because you are specifically matched with someone. Some women may never get matched again so if they were to freeze eggs there is a possibility for those to be wasted, which is why I Assume they don't do that.

      You can freeze your eggs, but then it would be at your own expense. :)

    • @Iamtierrahogan
      @Iamtierrahogan  5 лет назад +1

      I don't know about precautions, but I'd say to 100% do a lot of research first and read everything the service gives you before you sign to do it.

    0:54 In your other video you seem to think you're making more eggs, no you're not making more eggs. I already said that on that video and you've probably seen my comment by now but I'll say it again just in case. You have a *LIMITED* number of eggs. You *DON'T* make anymore. You only ovulate and fertile a few at a time. If the people doing this with you aren't telling you you're losing your eggs they're scamming you. Interesting how they target black women
    Are you not interested in having your own kids?

    • @Iamtierrahogan
      @Iamtierrahogan  7 лет назад +15

      They aren't 'targeting' black women. Every donor, white or black etc, is put into a database where a couple will choose a donor based on a number of qualities. In my particular office I notice more Caucasian women. It is not like a factory full of black girls that have been persuaded to give them their eggs, which is what it seems you are getting at. There seems to be less black women that donate, thus less options for African american couples finding a donor that more closely matches their resemblance. At the end of the day these couples want their kids to look as much like them as possible so it seems less likely that a black couple would choose a white donor or an Asian donor etc. These facilities may like for black women to donate because it gives the african american couples more of a selection. As far as egg production, the medication we are put on is to stimulate your ovaries to make multiple follicles and follicles contain the eggs. The hormones enable one to produce multiple mature eggs.
      Are you a fertility doctor? I'm curious where do you get your information?
      On another note, no I did not see your other comment. Unfortunately I am too busy to check this every day. If it was a negative comment I probably did ignore it, but I have time today. You seem rather abrasive, watching and trying to debate every video. I apologize if you are offended. I would suggest no longer watching. Thanks anyway!

      We have a lot of eggs

    • @anleriedewet5395
      @anleriedewet5395 6 лет назад +15

      Yes, you're right, your body doesn't make any more eggs - but what you haven't mentioned is the fact that while you are born with all of your eggs, your body only releases a few potential eggs each month, of which only ONE will be used for a period and the rest of the potential eggs die out. With egg donation, they just take and use the eggs that your body would have disposed of in anyway. Please don't make accusation and assumptions if you haven't gone through the process yourself. Thanks.

    why in ever did you donate egg in china?

  • @odetochef
    @odetochef 6 лет назад +6

    While you're helping other women this is also the best time to help yourself i.e., keep some of those eggs for yourself. I wish you would explore that foresight for yourself. You are giving potential your best quality eggs away and while the cause is half pure. I'd hate to see you struggle with infertility in the future when you have the ability and power to also help yourself now (while you help others).
