- Equalibrium Man is a snowflake ironman account born from my love of Runescape's early game grinds and my interested in various restricted accounts. Equal Man is an Ultimate Ironman with the goal of leveling all skills as equally as possible, no more than 1 level apart. If I mess up, I have to restart. How far will this generation's Equal Man take us?

I have never laughed aloud while watching a RuneScape playthrough until you. I adore this series.
I'm also incredibly drawn to quests. They are almost always my next goal. Right now I'm a little more achievement diary and CLog focused since I've finished every quest up to experienced and my next master quests will require some mental fortitude before I'm ready.

I remember seeing the first one, seeing how you had the footage on your computer for two years and just enjoying how daunting it seemed and now you're blowing through it (Love the leveling to the beat of the songs)

I was worried for a sec that the xp rates would be different between mining and runecrafting such that you might get screwed over at some point, but doesn't look like it thankfully
fun fact! Air runes give 5 xp each, and mining regular rune essence gives 5 xp each, so theoretically you can go all the way to 99 with them exactly equal. Hopefully I have enough spare xp to go for a higher level talisman at some point though

there's an addon that shows xp for each skill as a bar that fills up the closer you are to the next level. maybe it helps keeping track of how close you are to a new level up with skills

I feel like by this point I'd be so paranoid I was constantly checking before every click 'will this action grant me xp? how much? will that make me level?'. I'm doing a similar sort of restriction, though much more forgiving, on a minescape (runescape in minecraft) server that I play on. There's server-wide announcements when you reach certain milestone levels, so I'm doing a thing where I get 23 level-up announcements within three minutes. Calling it a 'blitz account'. I have to consider where my xp is coming from and how it'll effect other levels...if I use too many of my logs for fletching, how will I get firemaking up? How many mobs will I have to kill to get enough prayr xp? what sort of crafting will I be doing and how will sourcing those materials effect other skills? It makes it harder that the lower player numbers mean the GE is a little barren, and there's no ground spawns, so its an interesting challenge. But what you're doing here? *Way* harder, way more paranoia inducing. You are legend. Its super fun to see some one take this 'keep levels even' idea to such an extreme.

Great work! you might even be able to get hp balanced if you splash magic and use poison, heck poison might be useful to keep slayer in line. how you can access it without herblore I don't know... maybe buy raw karambwan cook to poison for 80 exp crush with pestle and use on a spear? Looking forward to see where you take the series!

Idk why you aren't doing arceuus library for rc xp. Lack of inventory space? It is as bad as you think. It was one of my reasons I've put my olaat on hiatus after reaching base 71. (Now with gotr, rc is piss easy)
Is olaat even mentally possible on a UIM at higher levels? I did sorceress garden to like 40 and karamja herbs to 20. I hope you are not considering a 7.5xp each world hop as a long term training method.

As for the Arceuus Library, I actually kinda forgot about it until I did the voiceover. The mining and RC xp just evened out so nicely. Spoilers though, I've started adding it in to give myself some ability to mine on the side.
As for the UIM status I honestly didn't think about the long term consequences, I just like the added challenge the game mode brings. I have started thinking about the possibilities though. I don't have a lot of plans, but I know I am probably going to be doing all my pickpocketing at master farmers once I unlock them and hoarding herb seeds. It will definitely be a slog no matter what though.

PS: Maybe the technical difficulties of beating the monsters aside, you are aware that you can already complete Priest in Peril right at this moment as far as it comes to level balancing? You mentioned level 25 but I'm not sure if you were referring to the combat stats you needed to defeat the temple guardian, or if you thought that it wasn't possible due to level balancing. Because when it comes to the stat equality, it is already possible to complete the quest without ruining the account level-wise (if for example you complete priest in peril with prayer at the beginning of lvl 20 prayer and all of your other stats at 21, the 1406 XP reward won't get you to lvl 23)
Thanks for the support! And good mathing. I did my rough calculations on only getting 1 level up for the quest, kind of because I didn't think of doing the 2 level jump but also because I just really like how the stats screen looks when they are all the same level, so I want to avoid level skips.

@@LandonHolmes By the way, for the sake of me not ruining you account through my well-intended advice: if you ever do decide to go for these 2 level jumps at some point, you have to be EXTREMELY careful that you don't accidentally pick up XP on the skill you want to make that jump on during the quest or anywhere else.
For example: If you want to do a quest that gives 1000 attack XP and you have 1100 XP to spare but then during the quest you have to kill a monster with 30HP and you just so happen to be training attack then you get 120 attack XP and now you've screwed yourself over because now you gained 1120 XP.

Funny in how many ways you can interpret the game's name. Rune-scape. Run-escape. (That was actually what I thought it was called as a teen with extremely basic grasp of English xD) Runes-cape. I hope there is a Runes Cape somewhere in the game, or failing that, that they add one.
