Andy Ranks: The Beastie Boys Discography

How these three dudes became OG masters of Hip Hop (and a lot of other genres) and music video and culture is truly remarkable. But they did it! I guess they found some ka-knowledge (and became MCs to a degree that ya can’t get in college!). Here I will do the un-doable and rank the studio records of The King Ad-Rock, Mike “Is your name Michael Diamond?” and Adam “MCA” Yauch.

Great video, thanks! Would be awesome if you went over their non-album stuff (which you I’m sure know about because you said you were so prepared for this), like She’s On It, Rock Hard, Alive, Cooky Puss, etc. I don’t expect that you own the records but just going over them would be cool. If not, thanks for reading anyway, awesome video!

I might do that in the future. I was sticking to their full length albums but Alive in particular is one of my top ten favourites from the boys. She’s On It is a lot of fun too. Come to think of it: they have so many great non-album songs. A couple more I loved are Skills to Pay the Bills and Twenty Questions.
