I see alot of Yeagerist hate among the fandom, and It makes sense, as they're portrayed as the villains, and are the antagonists of the main cast (except for eren). But y'all have to think about it. From the yeagerists perspective, the alliance is fighting to stop eren, their savior, from destroying all of paradis' enemies and saving the island from it's doom, and they're correct. The rumbling is the only thing that can save Paradis. 50-year plan? Tech will outpace the colossal titans and eventually make them irrelevant, not to mention the loss of Historia, her children and the future generation. Using this will lead to a rumbling event eventually too, which may not even work that time. Lay down and die? Obvious, Paradis will be destroyed by the entire world's militaries. Ok, how about destroying those militaries. This makes some sense, but it will only delay the inevitable. Technology will advance even without the militaries, and the people, will fear paradis even more. Fear, leads to anger. That anger will, in the future, materialize into a stronger, bigger force that will come back to bite paradis in the ass and destroy it. It's not like paradis can outdevelop too, since they're far behind in population, technology and everything else. Try for peace? Been there, done that. No amount of talking will solve the century of hatred, oppression and genocide. "Oh but Gabi and Magath changed their minds" It took personal interaction with the islanders to change their minds. Gabi is a child, she would probably be much more open-minded than the old monarchs that rule the countries, and it took magath the possibility of his homeland being completely wiped out for him to change his tone. A bit ironic, considering that was the exact thing he was trying to do with the Pardisians. "Eren can make the eldians not a threat by destroying the power of the titans" God no. The only reason Eldians are alive is because they are used as Titan fodder. This will just lead to them being even more oppressed and/or genocided. This will also remove the one thing that kept paradis alive, the colossal titans within the walls. "how about a partial rumbling?" Same result as the 50 year plan and destruction of militaries. They will regroup and retaliate. All of this means that Eren is shit out of luck. Do nothing? Paradis dies. Do something? The World dies. So he chose the more selfish option. The alliance wants to stop the rumbling. Justified in their own right, but they either fail to see that Paradis will be genocided in the process, or they just don't care. We, the audience know that it's probably the former, but the yeagerists see it as the latter, which is why they call the alliance traitors. The Yeagerists fight to protect their homes and families, at the cost of the outside world. The Alliance (except for the marleyans) fight to protect the outside world, at the cost of their homes and families. I hope you see now why some people think the yeagerists are right. Yes, floch is a cunt, but eren is too, reiner, annie, mikasa, connie, armin, pieck. All of them are shitty people if you look into them some more. The marleyans and warriors never gave a shit about Paradis until they were the ones being genocided, then they come crawling to the people they were just trying to annihilate and ask for their help. Mikasa, while hailed as a badass, showed 0 remorse in cutting down desperate, inexperienced recruits who are fighting to save their families. Armin spent several years doing jack shit in the Annie crystal cave and didn't even acknowledge Eren's emotional turmoil. Eren is a cunt for obvious reasons. Connie executed an unarmed yeagerist last episode too, and for some reason thinks that a mass murderer eating pie is hilarious, also him trying to feed falco to his mom. I’m 100% sure that if Isayama made the perspective more neutral and not so biased with the Alliance, a lot more people would be sympathetic to the yeagerists. Hange is right. Genocide is never justified. Yet both groups fight to preserve a genocide to prevent the genocide of another people. The AoT world is just that shitty of a place to live in. In conclusion, everybody in this story is an asshole. Except for falco.
It’s cool how Floch says to his squad “Paradis will sink in an ocean of blood” and his literally falls in an “ocean of blood”. I see this as symbolism, meaning the only chance for Paradis survival was in that one shot, he sinks and Paradis sinks as well.
Paradis does not go down with it. The common people got used to this aggressive ideology and this dictatorial government because he, along with his faction, provoked it in people.

Thematically this would be a great choice. Especially since Floch's character and leadership is basically an even more blunt and forthright Erwin. He knows a full rumbling is the main option for Paradis' guaranteed safety against advanced foreign powers. And he revels in that fact. He's Erwin in a state of frenzy. He's a better character than any of Paradisian characters in the alliance. That's for sure. They're hypocrites disregarding their own homeland for their own morals.
Bruh how you upset at them for having morals. They faught hard for their homeland, but they don't want to get power the same way that Marley did, through needless bloodshed and the death of civilians. It's not hypocritical for them to stop the death of humanity, because that's what the goal of the Scout Regiment has been this whole time:. Protect humanity, even if it means laying your own life down. Floch has forgotten that goal and now only remembers Eldia, which makes the vow that he took when he entered the Scouts invalid.
@@areebsiddiqui90 Saying that that was the Scout mission all along would just be flagrantly shifting the goalpost. For about as long as the Scouts were around, they were fighting for the human population they've always known. The ones they lived alongside for like 5+ decades or however old the survey corps is. Not for a greater population that is either complacent with the destruction of Paradis and/or actively want Paradis gone. That's part of why I call the Paradisian alliance member hypocrites. Even selfish to an extent with them going out of their way to kill Paradisian teenagers and former friends and comrades who just want a future never under threat of advanced military power. And even if a partial rumbling targeting militaries was enacted, that would still potentially result in a great multitude of casualties, definite loss of many lives and Eldia basically subjugating everyone else like how they did it back in their almost 2000 year long empire. Should I also mention the even more potent hatred the world would hold for Eldians even if the rumbling was cut short?
@@hakminblakmin7263 That's begs the question, why would they hate Paradis? Oh yeah, murder is bad. And the Scout oath was never specific, just a vow to protect humanity. The scouts aren't prejudice against the rest of the world like the rest of the world is to them, they simply see them as human. And as their vow stated, their goal is to protect humans

Using this OST specifically- is perfect for this scene. In this moment he must’ve truly been inspired by Erwin for what he said that day and used that as his will to continue what was happening this day. From facing face off with the Jaw, to almost getting cut up by Hange, and even to the point of fighting Pieck, never once did he even back down this day. Gotta say using this OST made me like his character a lot more cause of the meaning it holds as it did in their Final Charge.

Attack on Titan is an anime that confuses me and amazes me at same time. Isayama's work of art is one where a person cannot take sides and tag someone as protagonist or antagonist. Everyone in the story seems correct for they are fighting for their ideals. Its just like a mirror of our world.
But in real world, nobody joins the enemy even if their country is doing wrong. For example America nuked Japan killing so many innocents. Sure many people in America may have criticised it. But no one in America joined the Japanese forces to fight off their own army. I think, existence of alliance is very unrealistic, it's just for the sake of story. Hero villian thing.
This change in the ost fits perfectly as the lyrics literally describe the rumbling. "Oh for my kingdom for your return, I'll let it all burn, I'll let it all burn".
"Oh but Gabi and Magath changed their minds"
It took personal interaction with the islanders to change their minds. Gabi is a child, she would probably be much more open-minded than the old monarchs that rule the countries, and it took magath the possibility of his homeland being completely wiped out for him to change his tone. A bit ironic, considering that was the exact thing he was trying to do with the Pardisians.
"Eren can make the eldians not a threat by destroying the power of the titans"
God no. The only reason Eldians are alive is because they are used as Titan fodder. This will just lead to them being even more oppressed and/or genocided. This will also remove the one thing that kept paradis alive, the colossal titans within the walls.
"how about a partial rumbling?"
Same result as the 50 year plan and destruction of militaries.
Except for falco.

why is this soooo true omg
You know it's powerful characterisation when you're rooting for the enemy
Well he is not the enemy.
Enemies are people who are stupid and their living just causing everyone pain.
So who is good?
1. The World who wants Eldians to be dead.
2. Eldians who want to live in peace at Paradis.
3. Yaegarists
4. Zeke, who wanted a peaceful solution for everyone in this world.
Everyone of them may want something different maybe opposing but all of it is logical and its not harmful for everyone. There always is a side that benefits or it does benefit the majority.
And who is bad?
1. Marley, who despite hating on Eldia for destroying and enslaving uses the Titans in the same exact way the Eldian Empire used it. But they also brainwash, hate on and decimate them.
2. The Tyber Family which could have a) let the Paradian live happily or b) let all Eldians die nevertheless including themselves. But they decided to do a double shit.
3. The Alliance, including Theo Magath, who is the the least evil among them.

Genocide is wrong. 🙃
@@ifebamigbe404 glad to see someone else has morals
And to counter your point that they've killed Eldian civilians and teens, Eren and the yeagerists are literally killing EVERY man, woman, teen, child, baby, and elder in the world. The scouts aren't prejudice against the rest of the world like the rest of the world is to them, they simply see them as human. And as their vow stated, their goal is to protect humans

This ost works, but its better if it’s in the right timing
That's the rumbling she's singing about right there boi. Plus her voice in this song is fire, the best female voice singing I've ever heard
A great patriot & a true leader who fought against enemies, 4 titans and traitors with their immunity totem. Respect !
You can say anything about floch, but we can't question his determination for paradis Island that went against 2 titans.
i can feel the pain in his eyes, dedicating all of yourself to something you trust and fight till death for it, still fail at last but he's persistent as hell.
Erwin in background: "my soldiers rage , my soldiers scream , my soldiers **Tatake**"
A hero is willing to sacrifice her loved one for the world. A villain is willing to sacrifice the world for his loved ones.
This is why i will always be on Eren and the Jaegerists side, no matter the ending.
Literally every good scene has "Ashes on the fire" as ost. I seriously miss those different ost for different scenes in season 1-3
i don't hate mappa, but when it comes to osts they really be bland and lacking
@@zvakicauwu its not Mappa's fault actually. The music director changed and in s04 its mainly Kohta Yamamoto. Idk why Sawano and Yamamoto used all their creative soundtracks in 86, but not in AoT.
@@chhandadeepbera3820 Yamamoto is just a composer he makes music. It is the sound director who decides which music to use in which scene and yeah it still is the same music director who worked for WIT
The guy who listened to Erwin’s speech whole heartedly😊
In this scene. I was really rooting for Floch the whole time. Such a great character.
This ost is also played when commander Erwin give the speech and floch’s life changes.
Maybe a little flashback of that speech during fight would be amazing.
Even back than he was charging head on against death and still doing same.
the last of the people who heard erwin speech
My soldiers rage , my soldiers scream
I was all like “damnnn look at that! Skilllls bruh Erwin DID say those who survived in the Survey Corps would be the most skilled, really showing off his moves!”
*gets another image of Gabbi crying and making an impossible shot*
😐
Remember when this man was literally on his knees crying last season but right here he fought through 2 titans, and the Commander of the Survey Corps in just seconds
King Floch true successor of Erwin
Screw gabi all my homies hate gabi, ruined an epic moment
I respect her, hitting some Faze Clan shots as a 12-year old.
@@Fluffy_Monarch she's based off of Mary sue arya stark from got. Isayama admitted she was based off of her. Like arya stark, snk dropped in quality when she was introduced. Woke characters deserve no respect.
the development for this guy character skyrocketing and broke the ceiling
