Being fat is a choice, unless your born with some illness or condition that is out of your control.
true but if u eat healthy then u wouldnmt become massive
@@luscaz_some illnesses or conditions make you fat without eating a lot even if you eat less than the average person but if you are extremely fatter than you should be even with the condition I agree that’s the caretaker or persons fault
Well it’s depends a lot of moms after having a c section and if it goes wrong it could cause many things for example gasses that makes your stomach bloat and you can’t get rid of it or it can make your legs puffed up and swollen
Agree, I have pcos and also take medication that makes me gain weight easily and makes it harder to lose. But I still tell every to exercise and eat healthy because it’s what’s best
@@Ranasabia420 that's literally a condition out of their control. you proved @NONAME-rc7kw 's point
As a fat person myself, YES, it's a choice. Blaming society or anything external on the fact that you can't put the burgers down is ludicrous. Eat less, move more 🤷🏾♂️
Depends on the person fr. Some people have disabilities that make them over weight no matter how much they work out
Which is extremely rare and it doesn't necessarily stop them from losing weight. it makes it harder, you're not special, you can't change the laws of thermodynamics@@bitviper3430
@@bitviper3430yeah but that’s the minority, most people can

Y’all need to react to the newest one fat vs fit 😭😭
They gon explode with how crazy that Ep was
ASAPPPPP!!!!
I was gonna say the same thing lol
it was such a gooooood episodeeeeeee fit made it so funny 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
YES THAT ONE WAS SO OUT OF POCKET
Losing weight is VERY simple . That doesnt mean its EASY
Nah fr, I can admit that I’ve had struggles with it mentally wise and just needing the self motivation. I get for people with illnesses and things like that, it can be more of a challenge. But it’s not impossible.
Facts and same thing with gaining weight
It’s for both. As a skinny who has tried to gain weight. The body gets comfortable in the state it’s in.
@@evangingerson1271 i used to be skinny asf so i ate 3300 calouries and went to the gym for a year and gained 20kg even then i still wasnt fat. but instead a good weight. its easy if you put your mind to it
20kg is 45 pounds**
As someone who’s gone from fat to a healthy weight, yes it’s a choice but food addiction is a real struggle and is usually caused by traumatic events (most of the time)
Sure, but just like any other addiction we should all be striving to battle the addiction however we can, which could mean therapy or a coach. I used to be very addicted but the more I put in effort to change, the less I cared about the food
I would not say most of the time. Most food addictions are just based on people not being able to restrain themselves and the food itself being addicting in nature, not because they have "trauma" lol.
Yes. I have binge eating disorder and a lack of willpower. I lost about 130lbs a few years ago but gained it back. I’m going through the journey again. It’s so fucking hard
@@username8644there’s disorders and mental issues that cause the addiction to food. For instance I’ve used food to cope since I was a child which caused me to develop binge eating disorder. It’s not always as simple as you all make it seem
I don't think it is most of the time. You telling me almost everyone in the US is traumatised now? Now compared to 50 years ago where they had been in and out of wars? Sure, they didn't have an abbundence of food during the war, but groceries were cheaper than now if anything during the 70s to 80s...
0:45 googled fat and plus size right after he said this. Almost every image when i searched up "fat" was male, and literally every image when i searched "plus size" was female.
What are your pronouns?
Plus/Size = Women
Fat = Men
wow. that's actually insane
Marketing rules everything around me
I never get tired of rhino getting up & walking off 😭😂
Facts😂
For the girl in the red shirt that keeps talking about when she was child, yes she's right that having parents who don't influence healthy eating did affect her. But, she's an adult now. She can choose to educate herself and make changes in her life that can lead her into being healthier.
I always say that if there’s a problem that affected you you were unaware of then chalk it to the game but if you become aware of that problem & choose to do nothing to solve it that’s on you
The fact that this is even a discussion is crazy. Whats even crazier is people agreeing. Choosing what you eat, choosing when to exercise, and choosing who you surround yourself all encompass the choice of being fat. There’s no excuses. If you feel like you’re being “judged”, then change something. If you don’t care, then so be it. Find it crazy people can’t just own up to their decisions and do a little self introspection
This comment right here 👌🏽

You should have reacted to the one with Myron from fresh and fit
Damn I clicked on it so fast cause I thought that's the one they were reactin too. Want to see rhinos opinion specifically on it. Lots of people were trashin Myron but for the most part I don't think he said anything that controversial or that wasn't true

@@divyaa4459 I can see that. But to be honest I think he acts that way on purpose to get a rise out of people. Especially when on the original vid there were so many comments about him, that's more views for his podcast which he profits from even if people are watching out of anger. And he could definitely be more respectful but regardless the truth is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. At least that's my opinion on it. I respectfully disagree with the “when big you wanna eat less and when small you wanna eat more”.
Before I went on my weight loss journey (still on it but I already lost 100 pounds so I’m kinda chilling now) I was 330 pounds. I was WHACKING FOOD DOWN lmao. Like it was nobody business. The moment I felt an INKLING of hunger I was eating. And I wouldn’t just eat one meal or one sandwich. I was eating two meals EASY and sometimes a whole pizza in one sitting. As humans eating is so much related to our mood. Food can deadass become a drug if you let it, and that’s what it was at that point
Congrats on losing 100 pounds
It's a general statement yes, maybe not word for word
u WANNA eat less but people dont know how to discipline or wtv it's called themselves
I disagree too lol Noah was a bit crazy for saying that his Dr told him that 😭😭 far from true
@@opaliatzs but he was talking about like cravings and such, no? Like he wasn’t talking about setting the goal of eating less he was talking about hunger levels as compared to body fat. Which, as I was saying, in my opinion, when I was big I REALLLY REALLY wanted to eat food
The problem with most ppl when getting into working out and losing weight is, a lot of the times ppl go from one extreme to the other. They go from eating extremely unhealthy to eating extremely clean/healthy and with that approach ur setting urself up for failure. When getting into working out it’s ok to slowly or at whatever pace u want to transition into working out more days and implementing healthier foods and not just jump right into it. Start with working out 3 days then when that becomes manageable go to 4 days, then 5 etc. Working out 3-4 days a week is still good and u can manage a relatively healthy weight. Some ppl do 5-6 a week which is even more awesome. At the end of the day the body is meant to move. There’s so many different types of exercising you can do whether that’s walking, running, weightlifting, swimming, HIIT, Pilates etc.
This is great advice; this also works for a diet. I've never been overweight, but I have had a soda problem. I tried going from drinking like 6 a day to nun for a week and it's pretty impossible. When you get addicted to stuff you go through withdrawals. So what I did was went from 6 to 5 to 4 and so on. Until it became normal for me to drink about 1 day or every other day. Now I'm trying to only drink them on special occasions. I've also tried other drinks to help me not drink so much soda.
@@aydenconner7 exactly, slowing decrease the amount of unhealthy foods in ur diet, that’s the perfect approach/way to do it. And it’s totally ok to have a cheat meal or day too, it’s not going to derail you off ur fitness goal and make you gain a bunch of weight. It’s totally ok to reward urself from time to time. The most sustainable approach to eating healthy in my opinion is the 80/20 diet. Eat healthy 80% of the time and eat unhealthy 20% of the time!
Also sleep and rest are very important!
@@j-id2zt absolutely, ideal to get 8 hours a day
i was screaming this at my screen the whole time! some of these people like to go straight for the "killing myself at the gym, etc." argument and im like girl NOBODY said that you need to be killing yourself to lose weight. it's not one extreme vs the other! it's a slow progression that often takes a lifetime, because the goal is to change your lifestyle for the better. that takes time and commitment and a lot of psychological work. and any real change like that does not happen over night. they're throwing out strawman arguments.

I’m 22 yrs old at 5’3 at 190 - 195 pounds, and I feel like at the end of the video you guys really took every aspect and every small little detail and broke it down for me to understand what I’m doing with my body so that I could really change myself and or change my mind like you said Rhino. I really love that perspective I haven’t really thought about it that way.
I gotta say that 75% of the time, being "fat" is a choice, but there are peeps with medical issues that cause them to be overweight. But Being fit is a perspective, not just a physical condition. But its ALSO a choice. People don't have medical issues that suddenly cause them to be"fit". So it IS and ISN'T a choice. Also, its more about WHAT you eat not how much. Americans eat too much ULTRA-processed food. I people ate more organic, pasture-raised, grass fed meats and unprocessed fruits and veggies...NO ONE would be fat. (RESEARCH that).
75% ? More like 95%
More like 98 percent of time,
Yea it's statistically in the 90s
75% is being more charitable than Santa Claus it's definitely at the very lowest 96%
i eat basically only processed shit, i'm 5'8" and 125lbs, when i try i can get to 137 in a week and lose those extra 12lbs the next week, it's not hard
As someone who’s always been skinny and has bulked for the past year gaining weight is definitely harder💀
Depends on your genetics
I myself am fat! 187lbs or 85kg at 5'8" tall. IT IS A CHOICE. I choose what I eat and I choose how much I exercise. Hell, it's so much of a choice that I've lost 13lbs in 2 weeks just by going gym every day and CHOOSING to not have breakfast, not have my snacks and just eat a healthy, chicken sandwich for lunch and something like chili con carne for dinner. All about 1500~ calories and I'm full every day. It's all choice my friends.
Good stuff brother keep it up

@@taelorjacobs2538me personally what I’ve been doing is eating within a window of about 10-12 hours everyday and eating lower calorie things. And cardio helps a TON. It’s better to do more cardio than lifting weights but if you are lifting you can do lighter weights and longer sets. Hope that helps!
That’s not even that bad at my heaviest I was 180lbs at like 5’0. Luckily I realized I was killing myself and decided to make a change. I’m now 140lbs
187 ain't that bad tbh. I'm a fit 205 at 5'10"
I’m obese and I don’t look like it. Since I’m tall you can’t tell I’m 300lbs so I don’t get treated badly but I know myself that my life is much worse now that I gained weight. I feel my body give out on me everytime I do something. It is a choice to be fat and people don’t like admitting that. I hate that I chose to be this way and I wish I could take it all back. I was warned that eating all those sweets and junk food that I was going to gain weight and I didn’t believe them🤦🏾♀️.. if I had to choice I would take being smaller any day because my body and health we be way better
It’s never to let to cut, best of luck
You do have the choice maybe not automatically but eventually if u put your mind to it you will, and i believe in you.🗣🗣
aye bro, appreciate the honesty and vulnerability but it's never too late to get the body you want. It's gonna be hard but you can do it if you truly want it. Also, being tall and 300 pounds will help you. As your probably stronger than what you think you are. Go on a diet, hit the gym, and scientifically that fat will turn into muscle. Fat doesn't just disappear. It turns into energy and can be turned into muscle. So you could be jacked and healthy. You got this.
I've learned a few things about set point in college. You can change your set point. You need to stay at your new weight for around 6 months for it to switch. Shouldnt use set point as an excuse.
growing up with parents who doesnt really care about me eating unhealthy food for my whole life, it changes apart of your mind and its ingrained in there
That fact that you can acknowledge it shows that it’s not ingrained, if it was ingrained you wouldn’t notice. Eat healthier and lock in

Theres a reason gluttony is one of the 7 sins. Its a lack of self-discipline, greedy, and selfish. It’s actually a huge problem to promote obesity under body positivity. Like promoting a sex addiction , materialism, laziness, agression, envy or pride.
Fact is, for the majority of obese people it’s a psychological problem and a health problem. I honestly don’t understand why confirmation bias is not recognized as a prevalent issue by this new generation that’s so well read and advanced in information, when it comes to obesity. I can only hope people wake up at some point to the programming and get the help they need.
It is what it is.
Keep up the good work boys💯🔥

I think most people know that being fat is a choice, it’s just that they are scared of being labeled as “politically incorrect” and “offensive” so they pretend to agree that being fat isn’t a choice.
Being fat is a choice people make every time they open their mouth to eat
And you shouldn’t be opening your mouth to speak about fat people
I hope you're leading by example by not eating.
i love how i’m watching this well eating a big bag of peanut butter m&m’s and drinking a stanley full of dr. pepper but i choose to its a choice, like i have cheer tomorrow so ima burn it easy but still a choice
myself being overweight, i think it really depends on the situation of the matter. I myself have been diagnosed with binge eating disorder which makes weight loss very difficult. i have very easily recovered before and then i relapsed during covid. its a very difficult habit to break and its really heartbreaking to see yourself prove you can do it just to ruin it but its all about mindset. i currently am down from what i was and i will continue working. i guess its a very broad subject but i do believe that overall, it is a choice.

Getting fat can be out of your control due to many factors, metabolism, household environment (being fed fatty meals) etc
Staying fat is something different, u can choose to exercise and diet in order to change, but most people don't
It’s not too late to delete this comment
@@HMPRODIGYthe simple truth is that regardless, you can deal with those family issues and etc before your fat. I think what your talking about is child vs adult. If You are a child, it's doesn't matter if your overweight or not. You will still be over fed in the scenario you mentioned. So if it is out of control before they were over weight, it is still out of control if they are. But if you were overweight as a kid because of those issues, then as an adult you are usually more well equipped to deal with them.
@@putent9623 I was speaking more in general not specifically a child but if We are talking about a child how can you deal with that before you get fat? Is starving yourself the better alternative? 😂
You pretty much gotta eat what your being fed
Also it does matter even when your a child cause these are instilling bad food choices/ habits that can go over into your adult years.
And yes adults are equipped to address their weight concerns, after the fact but you can't just dance around the fact it's gonna be much harder due to what a person is used to eating on a daily basis.
The real lucky ones are the ones with high metabolisms, if not the biggest factor of you actually gaining weight anyways
Another banger!!!🔥

how entitled as a society do we have to be to consider it 'systemic fatphobia' when healthy people are preferred over obese people? and how entitled do we have to be to normalize obesity, coming up with terms such as 'plus size' and thinking it's ok for 5x shirts to exist when there are millions of ppl starving at this very moment?
“Ohhh 😮🤨wait a minute but I’m 170 lbs” 😭😭the realization
Rob really the type of a friend that takes things to the next level😂😂
It was personally interesting to see how the "fat" man and "plus size" women responded differently to proposed question. Man knew that he isn't at his best and is responsible for it, while the women always tend to be more blaming someone else and/or saying that they should be fat and enjoy being fat. Maybe something to do with how society treats differently fat men from fat women, as women are called Plus Size Queens, while men are being shamed for it?

13:44 easy for you to say but some people have very small appetites and eating is like a chore
Yeah it’s been hard for me to gain weight while still eating healthy stuff. Always have to eat so much and feel so full
I've been tryna bulk but my mom only gets food for me when shes hungry 😭unintentionally lost 10 pounds while trying to gain
I thought this was gonna be the one that dropped recently with Myron from Fresh and Fit. Lol
I agree what they say at the end, I expect people to be mean to me more than I expect to be nice.
I have a friend who does makes really "rude" comment on a playful way and one of his daughters ask me in front of me "why is Dad so mean to you? And why you let him be mean" and I just told her the day your dad says something nice to me out of nowhere is the day we stopped being friends, it'll be weird, too weird.
I really put a lot of respect on the bigger men and women who actually change themselves because they realize it’s a choice and want to look and feel better. You can definitely be behind the ball as a kid when you really may not have the choice of what you eat and how much you work out, but as an adult there’s really not any excuses. Sure there’s the occasional things like not having the ability to work out conventionally, but even then, there are specialists out there that can help you. The only real reason I could see is you not having the money to workout or eat healthy but even at that, running/walking is free, and science proves over and over again that if your calorie in is less than your calorie out, you will loose weight, and eating generally better is just as expensive as eating out/ junk food. Eating really healthy is where is can get expensive.
yall gotta react to the fit vs fat video
As a former fatty with no self control when it comes to snacking: i dont keep any extra food in the house. Zero temptations if there isnt any food lol
Love the longer videos
my mom had lupus and never worked out and had so many health problems, then started going to the gym and working out and it helped almost all of her health problems with lupus when she lost weight.
I’ll never understand the disdain some people have for obese people.
Get better soon Noah
Hi I’m someone who was “skinny shamed” when I was younger and let me tell you that being pointed out in health class when your learning about eating disorders is not fun (not that I’ve ever had an eating disorder) or being grabbed at/ picked up is also not fun. It caused me to hate my appearance and I tried to eat more but not healthily and I still couldn’t gain weight. Now I am heavier than I was I’m about 130 lbs, I’m 5’6, and I’m 22. I go to the gym and I eat more food but mainly try to have a higher protein intake and obviously everything is about balance to much of anything is unhealthy. Honestly the amount of times people have asked me why I go to the gym, or why I eat the way that I do is laughable. Many people believe just because I am a healthy weight means that I shouldn’t take care of my body. I am someone who is genetically predisposed to high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and cancer. So yes I do take care of myself and that shouldn’t be an issue.
As a 280lbs fatty it is choice.
That girl that talked about only eating ice, lettuce and "salads" sounds like she either has hypothyroidism or the salad has ranch, sauce and oils which is a huge factor for gaining weight. Sauces and oil can completely destroy your diet by making you consume 2-5x more calories than you think you are consuming.
Adding more extra virgin olive oil is even a tip for bulking/gaining weight since it's a "easy" calorie addition.
And starving yourself is worse as your body creates body fat reserves for survival, which she mentions she would do following her coach's diet.
She’s full of shit probably

Woah 170 for a women isn't that bad especially if she tall. Like whaaaaaa. For Shorter women maybe 140-150 but still 140-180 should be the average weight for an adult women. Not a teenager.
Well if its the average in america and america has the fattest population I think that alone tells you its not great (also dont forget the average female height in america)
It is that bad for a 5 4 woman
Is it a choice? In a way yes. But it’s important to remember that it’s not as simple as "stop eating and you’ll lose weight". Some have eating disorders and a serious lack of willpower from trauma and or depression. Those things are mental. It takes time. As a society we need to be more compassionate. Stop shitting on people just because you don’t find them aesthetically appealing
a serious lack of will power sounds like a good excuse to blame your issues on somebody else. Besides genetic issues that don’t allow individuals to lose or gain weight, it is most definitely a choice to be fat or skinny. It literally is quite simple as stop eating in the sense that it is calories in calories out.
It is as simple as stop eating and you’ll lose weight. I was 330 pounds and dropped to 280 just from drinking water and eating less. At the end of the day it’s up to the person to make a change or continue to be a fatass. Society doesn’t owe you anything.

I'm glad they discussed how people that are buff can fall into the overweight category. I myself have over 200 lbs of muscle on my body, am in the process of cutting weight through working out 7 days a week, and I had to change how I ate to do so. It is a CHOICE. Barring any medical conditions or other illnesses and medications with weight gain as a side effect.

Rob and Noah are so used to Ryan walking back bc he does it so often lmao 💀
Need these guys on an actual vid like this just saying the same things I’m thinking
Apart from MEDICAL ISSUES and other predisposed factors such as genetics and conditions etc etc, in general YES your body’s factors are up to your own choosing, such as weight. Eating more calories contributes to fat gain and burning more calories spends that stored fat.
I used to be overweight at one point in my life where I reached 220 pounds in 2020 and that was during the COVID lockdown which made my mental state not right. After working out and eating healthier I lost 50 pounds (170 currently). There are always factors in people's lives that cause food addictions but at the end of the day you are choosing what kinds of foods you put in your own body and you are responsible for that.

Very interesting conversation. I really enjoyed hearing both sides, even if I thought one side was being a little ridiculous.
i was thinking, this video is so long, then i look at the time 😲. still watched the whole thing tho and proudly

I remember some guy from my 600 pound life said "I don't know what happened doc I tried everything I could"
*proceeds to eat buttered pancakes and syrup*
Seeing these people make me want to run as fast as I can
I am currently on a diet similar to the ‘water diet’ you guys mentioned. I go gym 5/6x a week for the past 5/6 months however i used to eat a lot of like processed foods and just blame it on ‘yeah i wanna look big and bulky’ but for the past 2 weeks. I have 1 smoothie a day after gym and then a protein bar at night. First 3/4 days was not too challenging for me even though i have such a large appetite but this is because i was ill, had a throat infection or smthn and didn’t eat but then i saw my body fat percentage drop and i was like hey i might try it. Today i had my first cheat day, i had a large pizza and doner chicken to myself, normally i would devour this and be like mildly full however only a few slices in i became so full. After 2 weeks of this diet i’m already noticing changes with looks and on the weight. I highly recommend that if you have enough muscle to spare a bit and you want to look more defined. To go on a very strict diet for a month or so, i’m talking less then 400 calories a day but still take protein powder etc etc. if you keep going gym on this restrictive diet you will keep your metabolism stable and you will maintain a lot more muscle mass then if you didn’t go gym. You might lose energy and feel nauseous apparently but i haven’t felt that yet.
