One thing I REALLY like about this is how totally unique and not-at-all connected to anything the character is. It's just a randomly adorable Astronaut with interchangable faces. Can't wait for mine to arrive so I can just admire him. I may put one in a fishtank with a lazy bubbler behind him. Bravo, Crafsman!

There's something so nice about The Pocketnaut and whilst I really want one, I'm glad that five hundred people wanted a little dude to take on adventures, who can be happy when you're happy and sad when you're sad and annoyed when you're annoyed. Hopefully there's a restock soon!
I love how you designed the face inserts so not only are they two sided, but you can spin the face from smile to frown, and so on.

There are SO many makers of what a lot of us call “pocket art.” Like worry stones, fidgets, figured, etc! Even just to check it out, there’s some amazing art out there and I think it kind of fits the “pocket figures” you talk about!

Not only do I get to enjoy watching craftsman work, but I also get to learn about manufacturing processes. Good thing, since I have a Production Engineering exam coming up. Perhaps, one day, the craftsman could do a video comparing various processes across shaping/forming/separating/joining.
I made the mistake of liking the video as soon as it started and then I had nothing to do every other time I felt compelled to like it throughout the rest of the video. Putting that love here instead ❤❤❤❤❤

Got mine in the mail last week! Cute, clever, and well-made. Indistinguishable from big-money toy company stuff in terms of quality. Now this little guy and his face friends are having adventures in a "pocketship."
Wow this is so cool! It really blows my mind how technology, especially the internet, has democratized so many fields so that hobbyists can try their hand in their own home. I'd have never thought I'd see somebody create a scratch built injection mold system to make custom toys, I hope you sell many! Might have to buy one myself sometime.
I like to imagine that there is a puppet doing all this work behind the scenes.

Almost all of the song is just sad coincidence and absurdly improbable. That is the most ironic thing about song is that it is almost completely lacking in irony other than in name. Still a good song.
Edit: Soundgarden did "Spoonman" and that would have also been apt.

I loved little plastic figures that came in cereal boxes, like the Nabisco Martian that clipped to a spoon. (1960’s). Also liked the versions of “Hall of the Mountain King” you had played.

I’ve had very similar dreams to the ones you express from the jump basically but have spent the last decade and a half struggling with and against myself. I started watching your channel round November/December and the fog started to clear and while I’m far from funk free, the content you share has had a huge impact on me earnestly restarting my journey to keep the dream alive and regardless of the outcome you have my eternal gratitude and I hope one day I can pay it back or pay it forward. Just when I'm wondering what's my old favourite Craftsman up to lately, RUclips sends me this video.
The only design adjustment I would make personally would be to add a small hole in the back of the head to reduce vacuum and allow the face to be pushed out if necessary.
I want the POCKETNAUT to have a snap on Santa hat because it felt like watching you on Christmas. I was so excited to see how everything came together.
