This is the main speedrun category for this game. It prohibits the use of Cait Sith's 2nd Limit Break "Slots" which has the ability to win every boss fight immediately. It skips big chunks of the start of CD1, Kalm, Cosmo Canyon and the end of CD2. It uses Tifa's weapon "Powersoul" to deal 16 times her basic attack damage.
This run uses at this point the most up to date route. It's still very fresh but it improves slightly on several things. This is also my first upload of a run with the latest big skip, Kalm. By manipulating the way the world map is loading areas with a chocobo we can unload parts of the world map and clip through a mountain, which lets us skip the trigger inside the Mythril Mines and go straight to Junon without watching the flashback in Kalm.
The run was overall pretty good. It features a new steproute and a new Demons Gate strat that uses the Fury Ring and a Spider Web. Since the route, steproute and menus are rather new things are a bit sloppy here and there still but RNG has been very kind overall, especially in CD1. I hope I can improve on this soon. A sub 6:35 time is definitely possible, even though hard and would be a big accomplishment.

this is all pretty based but i had to come and make a request on behalf of the viewership. no offence intended but pls stop humming so much. you're almost always very out of tune. and it's so often. a big part of the appeal of watching longer speedruns is the music that you get to hear along the way. it hurts viewing experience with such often and discordant humming. thx and gl otherwise good work fren
Yeah that won't happen. I am definitely aware that it can be annoying for some people but my stream is not a longplay meant for people to listen to the nice RPG music, there are other sources you can go to for that and I won't suppress who I am and what I want. If I feel the jam and feel like humming, I will hum, if that's not an appealing stream for you then it's just not the stream for you. Thanks for the feedback though, cheers.
