@@spocky7515 thank you for your support 🫡, yeah I was actually considering that one tbh, I'm just still not quite sure how to structure it since the variants play so different (plus I don't have the American ones).
Nice work on this and the MiG-19 video! Really like the choice to use your real voice; the AI voices are always strangely off-putting, but these last two videos have earned you at least one subscription. Can't wait to see more.
so im new to jets and the mig-15bis is my first one in the italian tree, im totally having trouble shooting this thing consistently. you said vertical targetting was something people get butthurt about, why would that be the case? from my understanding it changes the convergence of the guns vertically to match your crosshair, would that make longer distance head ons kinda impossible or something? seems pretty useful also, one thing no one seems to go over in guide videos is how the hell do you start off games? whats your pathing? in propellers youll want to climb to get energy and control the upper skies but in my mig i see to do well getting a ton of speed really low to the ground and ambushing people that dont see me coming due to ground cover
@@AlexanderTawa I don't know why people get butthurt about it, but whenever I bring it up, there's always some kid in the comments who gets mad that I'm giving people "bad advice" because they think it makes aiming harder. I find that vertical targeting makes aiming way easier in the MiG-15. As for positioning, there isn't really one correct way to do it. I like to climb a bit to get some energy, but you can do whatever works for you.
How do you deal with aim 9bs in a Mig-17? I find that whenever I climb away from someone they just spam 3-4 missiles at me, pretty much guaranteeing that I die. This makes it impossible to hold onto energy as you have to spend it dodging missiles, which then leaves you open to more attacks. Is there a way to deal with them or is several aim 9bs just a death sentence?
9bs only have 10gs of pull, so unless you're stalled out, you should be able to just gently maneuver and they should miss. (Edit): Also, consider spiral climbing instead of just extending away if you have more energy, this will make you much harder to lock and hit.
I just can not get used to the guns. I feel as if Gaijin has put some sort of soft nerf on the MiG's cannons. The bullets have a different trajectory every time you fire them, there is no consistency with this aircraft, just luck. You can use the same cannons, on different aircraft, and they preform MUCH better, than the cannons found on the MiG's despite supposedly being the same guns.
@@Avery-432 it's not just you, the mounting is extremely weird. I've found that practicing by going after ground targets in test flight can be a good way to get yourself a bit more used to the trajectory.
You doing the event? Any suggestions on lineup to play for the points, it’s 7.0 US for me and the pattons are an immensely unfun play pattern to grind score
@@john-paulburke9279 if you mean mobile sniper, I would tell you, but I found an interesting little exploit that I'll be making a video on over the weekend, and I don't want to spoil it quite yet. I would just play what lineup you do best with regardless of rank though tbh. consistently high score is really more important than the multiplier.

800m fuse, now that is rare. I thought everyone went for 1000m to give the most separation possible (launching around 1.6km or so).
