That fleshraker in round 3 saving ya from a silly chalice check moment countering that ponder 😂

All that thought about ponder at 52:40 when there is a chalice on 1. Good thing he used it to Force of Will instead of taking the chance just to get it countered by chalice.

Show and Tell used to be the bane of my existence when I got into Legacy with my old Zoo list (around 20 ish years ago).
I think the deck was mostly positioned to catch people off guard. It's basically reanimator that doesn't use the Graveyard, and because it's slower, can go a lit bigger.

pouring one out for the homie Skylar C

I think the thing this deck is missing vs other combo decks in the format is a backup plan. Reanimator just has Frog Fun to fallback on and Nadu decks can just shift to playing more of a control game and killing you with a Bristly Bill over a few turns. If Show and tell here gets stopped you basically don't play magic until you draw another Show and Tell or a Sneak Attack and then you have to hope they don't have interaction for it again.

The deck got very angry that Phil said there wasn't enough mana. It very much heard you.. 😅

There is no worse feeling than when your opponent missed lethal multiple times and you STILL lose 😂

that Nadu deck missing lethal twice is hilarious. Its a hard deck I get it but damn

I’m not a sneak and show expert but I wonder about running a single Serra’s Emissary in the 75 as a silver bullet, name land if you have a Karakas stalling you or creature if you’re getting thrashed by a go wide opponent

    Phil, "LoNdOn MuLlIgAn!1!"
Also Phil, keeping 1 island in a fast mana Ancient Tomb deck against taxes

Sorry if I missed something, but cound't you sneak Emrakul and block TKS at 30:52?

I would like to see sire of seven deaths as a side board option against karakas. I'm not sure if its good enough to be in the deck but i know it would be a nightmare for low to the ground decks.

Sneak and Show feels very fragile to me. I've faced it IRL and ran it over with cobbled together goblins (basically mashed together two copies of the Goblins side of Goblins vs Merfolk) running a few Summon Traps mainboard as a called shot against blue. To be fair, it may be because the person really didn't know how to adapt and got caught by trap every game.

Round 5 when you brainstormed into 2nd emrakul I was hoping you’d hide the show and tell on top. While snapcaster wasn’t on my radar I was worried about more hand hate for some reason. I assume you didn’t want to hide anything cause you wanted to clear the brainstorm?

If opponent then takes emmy show and tell gets shuffled away

    • @Mangix_the_Bear
      @Mangix_the_Bear 3 дня назад

@@justineelzak4285 aha, makes sense! I guess he could have put away both Emrakul and Show and Tell then?

Round 5 game 2 you could have just brainstormed show and tell to the top

14:20 that draw seems like a weird glitch, did Misty somehow not shuffle the deck? You literally drew the exact stuff you put back with the brainstorm before fetching! D:

"We have a pretty reasonable play"
You have turn 2 omniscience + atraxa - what in the WORLD would count as a good play if that's just reasonable?

I don’t know what people like about this deck. It can steal games, but in the most boring way possible. It has one game plan that requires basically no skill to pull off. It’s not fun to play, and it’s not fun to play against. I don’t get it.

when you take enough Ls from society which rejects your ingenuity and genuine hard-work, then its hard to put that into magic: the gathering as well.
