Honestly, I was hoping for the same!!! I really wanted to get to know what was going on behind the scenes with this. I'm happy they had Corey come out and give the details and the background of this absolutely iconic battle.
The craziest thing is......HE STILL RAPS THIS EXACT WAY!! VOICE, STYLES, CADENCE, FLOW, even down to the karate chop hand gestures🤣🤣🤣🤣

True story: This clip is how I got into battle rap. I had seen Soul Khan vs QP on Worldstar when it had just happened, but I wasn’t aware of what Grindtime was at that time period and thought it was super interesting, but never followed up.
Fast forward to 2014 and I was in college and off of work one day, scrolling through Facebook and saw this video via Bam Margera clickbait that was recommended to me, of all things lmao. I then RUclipsd “Charron vs” and the rest is history. I went down a battle rap rabbit hole and for two years straight, maybe longer, I watched like 2 to 3 battles per day, then flew out to Mass2, my first event in 2016. Shouts out to Charron, man.
Very cool to finally hear some background on this. I honestly thought that the crowd was booing that other dude 😂
