They build a solid product. Two gripes: - no included instructions concerning cable management - requires THREE different driver heads for assembly ... absolutely bananas!
Your video is 10 times better than anything put out by Cloud Defensive. I was so pissed, trying to use the cable management. My cable casing got cut by my picatinny rail, from me bending the cable, trying to figure out how to route the cable. Now, I have to wait on some liquid electrical tape to arrive, so I can mend the tear in the cable casing; which is now covered with a piece of regular electrical tape. I think a better solution would be for Cloud Defensive to offer two different cable lengths. I find their system to be unnecessarily difficult. I'll be buying SureFire Scout lights or Modlites, from here on; unless Cloud Defensive comes to their senses and begins producing OWL lights again. Thanks for the great tutorial.
@@anonalol4346 , I truly understand. I wound up buying a product that is generically known as liquid electrical tape. I applied several coats, but I honestly still don't trust it for hard use. Cloud Defensive had a great product with their OWL light. I wish they would have stuck with that, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Even before the tears in my cable, I was concerned about all of the bending and tugging that is required. For decades, guys that used their guns more and harder than me, used simpler methods of cable management. It might not have been as neat and pretty, but they worked just fine. Cloud Defensive makes great lights. They should have teamed up with Arisaka or someone else, for their mounting solutions.
Cloud Defensive is innovating and producing some of the most impressive illumination devices and accessories in the industry. As soon as I am able, I will be diving head first into a micro rein, wish more than anything I could have got one of their moonshine models of the micro rein from the sale they had. They are incredible
Grabbed a rein 3.0 during their sale and forgot the rumors of cable management with them.glad you made this video cause i doubt i wouldve ever figured this out.
Cloud Defensive makes amazing lights but my only gripes with them are their instructions. The QR code on the box sent brought me to a FAQ page on their website which didn't help me at all, then I spent a bunch of time trying to find the actual instructions in which there weren't any at all. Come to find videos by them online that are nowhere near as good as yours that explain up close and in detail of how exactly to route the cable. If they fixed these two things then it would be perfect but it was a headache indeed. Also the 3.0's come with the MLOK inline mount which when you try to install it yourself it is physically impossible without taking off the light cap and base (as I later found out by painstakingly researching it online since there were no instructions).
Hello everyone. I just got the Rein 3.0 myself but I cannot figure out how to attach the picatinny mount that came with the light to the body of the light. I can't find a video showing how to do this as well.
What was the name of the mount? I have the reptilia for then Modlite but I prefer the Rein. Solid tutorial I’ll admit I’ve struggled with the lcs myself
Woah woah woah, how did you take the back button with the spring on it out? I spent like 20 minutes trying to align the threads so the cable faced the right way, and that piece doesn't come out for me! I just tried and I am scared to break it.
Thank you. I am still trying to get this thing on. I had to buy new Allen keys and even another set of screws because one of the screws fell out and got lost. Had I known that the mount was this bad, I would have stuck to Surefire.
This video deserves more thumbs up! While difficult at first I got it down and it helps so much. THANK YOU! 🇺🇸

Oh man this is awesome! I just got a Rein 3.0 and was looking into cable management options. Had no idea I already had it haha
Best video yet showing how to do this. Thank you
You're welcome!
Dude. This video was so helpful. My cable management looks so great thanks to you and your video. Thank you.
You're welcome! I am glad it helped.
Yes, thank you for the upload. Very helpful
That galil ace is 🤌
Great explanation
Perfect! Thanks! Now I need to go fix mine haha
Thanks for the information brother 👍
You're welcome!
Nice review! That mepro is cool too

Will the Arisaka Defense Offset Scout Mount work with the cloud defensive rein 2.0 on a Galil Ace Gen II? Thank you awesome video.
Dope! Thanks !
Just found your channel from the cloud defensive account! Great stuff
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Thank ya sir was about to buy cable management
Youre welcome. I am glad it helped!
IWI Galil Ace Gen 2? Very nice setup there.
Awesome. Thanks.
You're welcome
My light doesn’t allow for this. So I just wrap the cable around the left side and underneath the handguard and it’s nice and tight.

Nice video!what mlok you using?
Why don't you move the light farther up or even use the sbr CD mount to push the light body up by the barrel?
Do they offer longer cables? I got an ak with an extension and standard length handguards
Can you share a switch with a laser?
Cable ripped after a long time
What torque did you go to? I think CD recommends 8inch pounds?
What was the name of the mount? I have the reptilia for then Modlite but I prefer the Rein. Solid tutorial I’ll admit I’ve struggled with the lcs myself
It is a Valhalla Baldr Light body for the REIN. I have a review on it coming very soon!
thanks for asking i replayed several times and was going to ask the same question
Neat trick, thanks for sharing!
You're welcome!
Literally 10 words in the first :01 second of the video. Insane.

It just unscrews. There is a piece that keeps that button in place. If you unscrew it you can pull that button and cable out like I did in the video.
@@TacticalAdvisor Hmm, I did remove that, but the plastic piece inside doesn't budge at all, does it take some force?
@@Campredeye it shouldn't take much force to get it out. I have 3 of them and I haven't had any trouble getting them out.
What is the torque driver you are using and a link would help as well. Thank you!!
Wheeler FAT Wrench.
Dude what a nightmare...i got through all that and realized after an hour that, that isnt going to work with the pic mount that it comes with...
I still can’t get the cables to fit. There’s no way to get the cable low enough to attach the mount.
Shoot the Lone Wolf Glock 34 custom !!!!
Interesting
Wish this switch would work with Surefire 🤦🏻♂️
Is that a full size or micro Rein? The FS is superior.
This is the micro.
What kind of light mounting do you have? Thank you.
It is a Valhalla Tactical Baldr Body mount. Here is a video I made on it if you are interested. ruclips.net/video/TKY68U4_V6Y/видео.html
You used a torque screwdriver and didn’t say how much torque to use
They could have made the channel fit better. Looks like the cable is being pinched a lot.
This mounting system is pretty fucking AIDS! the light itself is fine but its just plastic garbage that's a pain to mount and not thought out well.
Thank you. I am still trying to get this thing on. I had to buy new Allen keys and even another set of screws because one of the screws fell out and got lost. Had I known that the mount was this bad, I would have stuck to Surefire.
Wtf is this gun?
It is the IWI Galil Ace Gen 2
here is my review on it if you are interested.
