Portrait of Ruin is a fucking amazing game. I grew up on the Castlevania series and you dont know how happy I am that the series is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Nobody knew what I was talking about when I was a kid XD
Circle of the Moon is more underrated than Portrait of Ruin.

@@keelanbarron928 yeah. Just saying. I've seen more people talking about portrait of ruin than circle of the moon so there it is. I didn't think people would assume i was taking this as a competition. Clearly i was mistaken.
@@boymancinder2000 circle of the moon is too dated, the movements was pretty awkward, and 2 more Castlevania games also exist on the same console (HoD and AoS) which didn't have that problem
I prefer Dawn of Sorrow and never could get in to PoR because I liked DoS way better, same goes for OoE

Divine Bloodlines- Rondo of Blood
There's so many great tracks, but those are probably my favorites.
Edit: I actually love Sorrow's Distortion as well, it's a very emotional song and it fits the context of the battle to a t.
Awake - Castlevania Circle of the Moon, is one of my all time favourite Castlevania songs. So good!
The abandoned castle theme from curse of darkness is so underrated, I feel like that game needs more attention in general

Agree, played this now in like 2020, and just wow, it was much better than I had imagined. played lament of innocence when released but I never got the chans to play curse of darkness back in the day. But I had as much fun now as I would have had back then.

Dracula's castle is one of the best soundtrack maked for a game . there are much titles of castlevania with great OST but noone have equaled symphony of the night. Every OST of that fucked game is a pearl, absolutely a MASTERPIECE.

Great Job putting a list together, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Castlevania has so many incredibly awesome soundtracks I just find it really difficult to choose one over the other in so many cases
Much respect putting a track from every platform and era, I will be honest and say that I was surprised there was not a track from Lament of Innocence. But great list! All 10 are some of my most favorite game tracks ever.

Agreed, CotM's Vampire Killer is the best. They save it for the final, hardest location with the toughest enemies and it's the only version I can take seriously. The others are more lax.

If you can, play Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow for de DS. It has AMAZING OST. It was the game that got me into playing the Castlevania series, and its music is a big part of that.

When I first bought Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, it came with the entire soundtrack on CD. I've been hooked on it ever since.
Towers of dolls, Unholy vespers, Order of the demon, Divine Bloodlines, Lost Painting, A rhapsody for the forsaken, Successor of Fate... I know it's difficult to choose between so many good tracks, so I wanted to mention the ones I think are missing at least.

esas melodias diosanto! recuerdo q me compre el castlevania curse of darkness solo x la portada parecia buen juego. Hasta q lo probé y me aburrió lo veia soso, despues de un tiemoo lo veia ahi el juego tirado en el cajon nuevo por el poco o casi nada de uso q le di, hasta q lo volvi a jugar de aburro por no saber q jugar y fuaaaa me enganché y fue extraordinariamente divertido para mi la musica dios!! me quedaba parado mientras escuchaba las melodias o luchaba contra los enemigos imaginando como si yo estuviera ahi dentro con esa epica musica. Supongo q muchos han conocido algun otro juego de la misna forma q yo, he leido varios casos similares jaja es extraño, supongo q tiene q ver mucho con el estado de humor con la q te encuentres al usar/probar algo. Un saludo!!

I did it because of boredom during the lockdown. Best decision ever. I finished, like, 3 or 4 Castlevania games on my gba, DS and on emulator
