    I loved this show so much and I was in my 60s, now 80. Hated to see it stop and I'm still on here reading about it.

      You might be able to find season 1 on DVD. I own it. I don’t think season 2 was ever released on dvd tho

    Damn I feel old I graduated from Hoover in 1999 and I was in Afghanistan when that show started and I couldn't believe they made that show at my high school. Enjoy time while you have it damn it's going fast.

      @Skittlez it started in 2006, was a pretty popular show especially back in that day MTV was still relatively cool

      @Skittlez The show premiered on MTV in August 2006 and it was focused on the 2005 football season.

    Wild. I remember when they faced Prattville in the state title. It was surreal having people talk about your hometown on MTV.

    I just watched the show on DVD last night. There's something about it that drags me into it. Maybe it's being able to kinda reminisce about my high school days or something.

      @@mercylacroix8084 Ebay and Amazon have the Season 1 for sale. I first bought Season 1 back in 2007 when it was first released on disc then years later like 2 or 3 years ago I rebought it to have one as a backup and the other as a collector's item.

    Wow I didn't know Jeremy Pruitt was their D coordinator back then. I'm a Nole fan and he was our D coordinator in 2013 when we won the National Title. Right now he is currently at Tennessee making a mess. Lol

      Yeah, i found that odd they said that too. It clearly didn’t give rise to Hard Knocks...in fact, one could argue the opposite occurred.

      Hard knocks was out but canceled by the time two a days came out. This show def brought it back / showed there was a audience for this type of football show

    I couldn't help but feel bad for Goose. The show did him so dirty. MTV portrayed him as a bad guy who tried to steal Kristin away. The two were only friends, and he never saw Kristin as anything other than a friend. He was never interested in her in that way

    I never understood the 80’s “Johnny from Karate Kid” hairstyle most of these boys had back then. Must’ve been a local style.

      I was in High School at the same time over in Georgia about an hour and a half to two hours from Hoover and that hairstyle was just as popular there 😂

      Arlezzy Reactions They lost their Championship game in the Finale. If I’m not mistaking I think they had lost 1-2 more games in their regular season too.

    Why just Alex and not try to get Repete and Max? I would have liked to see The Challenge start using people from other MTV shows sooner like Two-A-Days.

    Rush Propst was a disgrace to high school athletics. Thank God there is no one down in the Tallahassee area doing this stuff.
