- Take a college recruiting trip to the University of Texas, Austin with Kyle Millis and get an inside look at what a Day in the Life of a Texas D1 Athlete could look like. Kyle tours you through the McComb School of Business, DKR Memorial Stadium, Moody Basketball Center, and the Lee and Joe Jamail Swim and Dive Center. We also go into the Dark side of Texas Athletics and what makes the Longhorns the RICHEST athletic department in the NCAA.
ATTENTION: All NCAA D1 Athletes, message me on Instagram @Kyle_Millis if you want your team and university to be featured on the channel

i played at Texas thanks for the representation of our University! hooked forever!
It was quite the university, you’re lucky to have been an athlete there 🤝
I graduated from the Business School in 1991. It was called the College of Business back then. It was a newly constructed building, so i think it will be renovated soon. It was like stepping back in time when i visited last year.....
That’s super cool! It was a great business school and so centrally located on campus, I could definitely see myself there.
My Daughter and Lawyer husband live in Austin, I tell my son in law he has an addiction, Longhorn Sports. He was at that game when Vince made that touchdown and a large picture of that game decorates his law office!
What a game! That was my earliest memory of college football
Of course, another big reason Texas is able to do these things is that the school makes $6 million per DAY from the oilfields they lease out in the Permian Basin, according to a report in 2023 from KENS Channel 5 in San Antonio and a 2023 article from Bloomberg, which also states Texas could soon surpass Harvard as the richest university in America.
Just got back from winter juniors and, yes, it was amazing!
I never got to swim there in my career, definitely was on the bucket list.
Offensive football lineman getting paid 50k and nils. Can you imagine what the qb is getting. Colleges have earned millions and millions off athletes.
I’m trying to go to Texas, Cal or Florida for swimming and your videos help so much. So wanna tour Florida Gainesville next?
I’d love to make it happen 🐊
Let me know if you know anyone and I’ll reach out
Florida is a super cool campus, just went there in September and got to look at the new athletic facilities, super awesome stuff
A tour without access? That’s not a tour…
In the future, reach out to our athletic director, Chris Delconte is as good as there is at making anyone feel welcome and getting you what you need.
Definitely will do, we met some other athletes too now so definitely will be back to Austin!
Need to do an "NIL version" of this.
They got lots of NIL deals for sure down in Austin
Kyle, is there any chance you tour Notre Dame?
If I have the chance to meet up with an athlete there, I will definitely make it happen!
Thanks! I appreciate it! Your videos are 🔥at there just getting better! Keep up the good work!!
Kyle..did you reach out UT before you went to Texas? I can't imagine them not being psyched to have you show their facilities to so many swimmers. Thanks for trying... looked awesome!
It’s tough to let non student athletes in these facilities, just from a liability prospective.
@@KyleMillis makes sense.
Good video keep it up 👍 ❤
Thanks 🤠
I go to UT and will start work with the football equipment team as a student next semester
Well if you’re up for it, I’d love to get a tour around the football stadium…
Let me know if possible! Feel free to reach out on IG to set something up. Congrats on the great job! 🤠
@@KyleMillis Make sure they show you the Tanc as well. All the athletic programs share some facilities inside the football stadium.
(My son is a Freshman swimmer for UT)
Interesting anecdote, the underclassmen are given the normal dorms on the swim team. Eddie figures they will be sleeping in those rooms and not much else so, no need for the fancy dorms.
As an aside, I wish college dorms were not so extravagant. Some are simply outlandish and, I fear, will set up some of the students to feel disappointed/entitled when they graduate.
A “stored athletic department” indeed ! I’ve read all the new stories about Basketball Coach Beard being in jail !
Well… I can’t speak to that but historical for sure.
cool you can read! sweet
I guess your parents are Aggies tho.....since you are named Kyle, after Kyle Field located in College Station, TX.
🫣😳
KNEE DEEP
Did you mention if you abuse your girlfriend while a member of UT athletics they will give you a team of lawyers to help fight the case?
I’m wide hard longhorns fan, hook ‘em. Also Ou sucks
Go Bears 😬 UT has an amazing campus and facilities though… can’t lie
Just to be clear the financial stipend Texas pays each athlete has nothing to do with the NIL program. Colleges are now allowed to give athletes a cash stipend to cover living, travel or other expenses. It is a part of the scholarship package. Schools are not allowed to directly arrange or pay students for NIL deals. I enjoy most of your videos but this one was just plain awful.
They've got so much money they're constantly tripping over it and falling on their face. It's hilarious. By the way, don't believe everything you're told.
Tons of money… dirty or not dirty… How far would you go to win…
Go tour their big brother in College Station next!
🤣 can't even come up an original yourself. Everyone knows who the little brother is and will always be🤘
@@corypeacock556 Yeah that joke was trash from that guy.
IDK y’all. It looks like little brother is following big brother’s steps to go play with the big boys in the SEC
You will always live in the shadow of UT. Keep dreaming about being the big brother. I needed the laugh 🤣😂
Aggies left Big 12 because the Big brother kept outshining! Longhorns own the Agg’s. It’s alright soon enough they continue to keep beating them in football. Soon enough! Can’t wait, Hook ‘Em!! 🤘🏽
Now I wonder what the poorest is in the NCAA?
From a debt standpoint… it’s Cal😳
So I guess I already did a tour - with more sports coming soon 👀
@@KyleMillis You mean yourself or Cal as a whole
