Agree completely. However, one thing that should be mentioned with the wildfires in Greece is that they're almost always lit on purpose. The following year, a wind power plant or a massive hotel is built on the burnt land.
Unless climate change increases arson, I'm not sure where you're getting the idea from. Also, your example of change in burn acreage for one year is statistically meaningless as the area burned in any given year varies wildly. To get a good indication, you need to look over a significant time period. Not sure on European data (there are confounding variables due to changes in the forested area) but looking at burn acreage of countries like Australia or the US shows that it has massively decreased, the highest burn acreage being in the 1930s. This reduced into the early 1980s, when the same scientists were predicting an imminent ice age and had since increased a little again.
@@planetonepointfive The proposed measure are not cost free. What they are proposing to do to combat their supposed emergency will cripple the economies of developed countries and cost many trillions of dollars impoverishing future generations. You'd better be very sure that you're doing something necessary if you want to do that.
Have you felt the weather changing recently?

Very good point here 👌
This video's storytelling and also the background is next level. 👏
This is so kind 💚 Always trying to work it as much as possible to give the best possible view experience ☺️
My state is onfire too, liberal policies are actually the problem, not climate change.

Well, let’s all hope you’ll be right. Meanwhile we’re not gonna sit back and wait to find out.

Just throw water to put it down!
Gotta hit a water crisis too then 😳
Arsonists caused it
Sooooo sad?
Following the news over the past month has really moved us. We need to stand together and all do our part.
Do your research. Arsonists lit the fires
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment.
