I lived in Georgia on the coast for years. I loved and now miss the smell of the marsh at low tide. You should learn to cast a net for shrimp. You can cast at any tide, but outgoing tide brings the shrimp out of the grass islands. It's a blast. It's best off of a dock.
i don't think you can fish or crab off the pier there in cherry grove, not positive, but don't think so. didn't watch entire video before posting, my bad. all the years been going to cherry grove, have driven by that area so many time, but never stopped, very cool, thanks for sharing, nice
@@MrMyrtle yep, my bad for not watching all the way. Funny how we take areas for grandit and never explore. Thanks for sharing. You should go over to 53rd street at end and explore the preserve. Pretty cool also. Thanks and Cherry Grove rocks
fiddler crabs , the male usually has the larger more colorful claw, females most of the time smaller but not always, but can have large claws, but are usually grey and darker green in color.
This tiny spot is such a delightful oasis of peacefulness.
I'm glad they preserve areas like that. Life in the salt marsh, how wonderful.
This is really cool
Thank you for sharing.

Yes, as stated in the video you have to be off the pier to fish. I never stopped either until that day and glad I did. Thanks for watching.

How long have you lived down there
Your definitely right about people littering. Just amazing that grownups would come to paradise and trash it, no respect for where their at.

Male vs female fiddler crabs. Male have one big claw emale dont. Good bait
