    I have known Jean since we first hosted National Day Parade together in 1998, twenty four years ago. And it’s through this trust that I felt comfortable to share some of my mental health struggles. This podcast provided a safe space for her guests, and we will continue to share as long as there is someone who needs to hear and heal.
    I’m none the wiser and still a work in progress. All I know is my mother's love, and strength, carried me through life's many trials and tribulations.
    I wish for you too, a reason to carry on, at your darkest moments.
    God bless all of you. Stay strong and true, be mindful, cherish every little blessing, and don't give up on yourself.
    Yours,
    Sharon AU

      Sharon,
      Just read your IG post abt the Paris thingy.... Keping you in prayer.
      Psalm 91:14-16
      14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
      I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
      15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
      I will be with him in trouble,
      I will deliver him and honor him.
      16 With long life I will satisfy him
      and show him my salvation.

    Sharon you are far more successful than what we read in print. I am impressed by your wisdom and insight into your thoughts and feelings and all this said with an eloquence in language and speech. I wish you all the best.

    As a parent myself I can understand where the mum is coming from. When your female adult child is reaching 50yo and is still single and living alone, the worry kinda gets to everyone surrounding the child, not just the parents are worried. I would say good luck and buck up so that your mum need not have to worry for your future. Stop running away from the media by staying outside of sgp. Good luck finding a soulmate.

    One must never give up/abandon hope. Nonetheless, one must also understand humans cannot escape faults/mistakes. Never attack yourself for not possessing divinity/perfection!

    I can relate to the bad therapy experiences. I struggled with depression and addictive issues as a teen and met a therapist too. He simply dismissed my problems as “mischief” and was very condescending. This was despite him knowing I grew up as a child without any bad records/conduct, and with good school results.

    Thats why we all need work and whatever else to occupy our time, our mind, our energy, an idle mind either makes you think you are just waiting for death or you think of dying.
