agree, he'll be posterized in the NBA. All NBA bigs are targets at being posterized but so what. A dunk is just 2 points no matter how exciting or great looking it is. The important thing is for him to be able to play and contribute both in the offense and defense. And I really hope he develops a more accurate and more consistent 3 pt shot. That'll equalize, if not do better than the 2 pt scored on him via a dunkshot. Dont matter to me if they dunk on him 10 times as long as he drops 10- 3pt shots in return... so who wins then? ;)
Uh, no he is not. If he was a great player he would be in the NBA. He is not close to a great player. A great player would have been drafted. Sotto wasn't even offered a chance to play in the Summer league - which tells you a lot about how really good scouts and GM's think about Sotto.

Lampa and lack stamina and that's the reason he was cut and replaced by a 6'10 Jessie Govan. I'll root for him and I hope he makes it to the NBA and the very first pure Filipino player. Thanks.
i feel the weakness of kai is boxing out for rebound and positioning himself when defending under the paint. He will be easily pushed by bigger guys. he needs to work out on those things. No issue with his offense.

Somehow, the nba is not impressed with Kai. I think his mobility is the weakness that they see. Kai just need to prove that he is mobile enough to guard nba players. His skills are already there. Just be dominant in the Australian league and Kai will be noticed by the nba.
Sorry but he can not be mobile enough...be cause he has slow twitch muscles which have their limitations and can not really converted in anyway to fast twitch.....Man is either one or the other only......besides he has the profile of gigantism disorder....
Kai just needs good representation. Very important to get the best agent with the most connections. An agent that handles top players like Klutch Sports which handles Clarkson.
Not happening until he gets more physically stronger and perhaps build more muscle and or put more weight. Smaller but stronger opponents push him like a child.
If you ask me Holmegren is more half baked than Sotto now look where he's at, Kai was playing with men in NBL, I dont care if he doesn't make it in NBA just want to support him all the way.
