This is probably the best asteroid mining video I have seen. Great Job!

I will say this about a minute and a half in.. I only came here to verify whether or not this was another Soul Media or other RUclips channel pumped out by faceless conglomerates to generate revenue without having anything new or interesting to say (and in many cases, inaccurate pronunciation of basic celestial or astronomical names), not to mention glaring inaccuracies. Your logo somewhat reminded me of one of those channels (monochrome and simple design).
Nice to see this appears to be a legitimate channel! Subscribed.

Thank you! No, I do prepare all of the material and do research for videos and write scripts myself. Also space has always been my passion.

my guess is that it won't be economically viable in our lifetime. great video, hard to believe the low amount of views on it.

Asteroid mining is not dumb, but the path to accomplishing it involves its own risks. Because the consequences are well presented in the movie called "Don't Look Up".

if you were an alien, would you spend time and resources mining floating rocks in space, or would you find a planet that supports life, then re-engineer that life to mine for you?

Yes it is almost as dumb as a balloon for a habitat or 3D printing a habitat. It's a wonderful thought, however very stupid! In the history of space talk, when have you ever heard of an asteroid NOT moving at 1000mph or mps. If you're able to even land on it, how do you expect to mine it before it is half a planet away or crash into another asteroid? You're better off redirecting it into a planet, let it crash and mine it from there.
