It’s even had my laser level on it as I own a building, kitchen & bathroom installation company so I know things have to be level etc etc…. Thanks for the advice but sadly thats not the case this time and that also definitely doesn’t excuse 2 leaks! It’s been sorted out now so onwards and upwards 👍🏻 and Burtons have been I touch as I said… cleans great though so no complaints with that 👌🏻
@@surreykoi I'm team profidrum and have no issues at all but they are expensive. If I were to buy again it would be the same or oase. I wonder if burtons will give you the opportunity to give it back as its not fit for purpose 🤔
@@Tom_Prendiville yes I was going to go Profidrum but thought I’d keep it to a local company as they are based near my parents! Money was therefore not the leading factor which sadly I may regret now! Don’t get me wrong I’ve got it working like a dream but just didn’t expect these issues and they need to know as well as the public 🤷🏼♂️
@@danieltait123 I have spoken on the phone and in person at the show!!! It’s basically because they are trying to make a cheaper drum to compete with Filtreau! Offered me a new lid and asked cheekily if I’d fitted it level!!! Oh and they would come round and sort out the leak! No comment on the drum being out of square though! Don’t get me wrong it cleans great but so do the others so my opinion is don’t buy this model but go for the bigger ones if you can’t afford the competitions versions 🤷🏼♂️
What shocking build quality😡🤬. I’m glad I went for an Oase drum filter….rock solid and extremely well made👍😊. Looking forward to seeing how yours progresses 👍🈲🐟😊
Mmmm it has been said by a few people now…. Thinking about it for a few days after speaking with them at the show I’m actually not that happy that the answer to my problems is “it’s been made cheap to compete with rivals!!!” Cleans great as I said and I’ve tinkered and got it almost right now…. Not sure someone with let’s say lesser know how could have done that 🤔 it wasn’t even financial reasons I bought that model 🤷🏼♂️
@@surreykoi koi keeping can be expensive enough at the best of times, I hate it when you spend your hard earned money on an expensive item like this only for it to fall short of your expectations 😡. On a positive note you say it’s cleaning well and after all, that’s why we purchase these units so hopefully it will do a good job for you 👍😊. I know a couple of people who are thinking about buying a drum from this manufacturer so I’ll definitely be pointing them in the direction of your video ( not to put them off, just to make sure they make an informed decision). Keep up the good work👍🈲🐟😊
@@TelfordKoiPond yes it’s very frustrating… yes please let them know about this as all I’ve filmed is the pro’s & cons!!! Pond is crystal clear though and the drum definitely contributes to that 👌🏻
hehe damn 1800 and you get thin plastic I paid 2k for oase compact got a thick metal container coated in rubber weighing 100kg heavy but sturdy xDD you could have got one of those 1k drums probably better build quality than burtons this material is too thin for me
Yeah it’s been working great cleaning wise but as I have fitted it totally correct it shouldn’t of had the problems I found! Anyway the power of social media has got back to them and I got a phone call yesterday and everything will be rectified hopefully 🙏🏻
Pretty shocking for £1800 dolla personally i always reccomend queni koi/dvs qk drums. I know of 30+ people that have them and cant fault them. Looking good so far 👍
Check the base is level you have the drum sitting on, seen this before if base is not level drum casing will twist

Shocking build quality mate , fingers crossed it performs ok you have every right to moan , great upload as per 👍👍😀😀
Can’t fault how it cleans it’s just you expect a bit more quality for £1800 I think as it’s £700 more than the Filtreau equivalent! 🤷🏼♂️
@@surreykoi get in touch with the ! I’d love to hear what they say about it the drum not being cantered. And lid etc

Definitely the best koi pond build on RUclips 👍👍👍
I did say to Vince that I’d have put something like that as a title!!! And mine is built with no help or sponsorships at all 🤷🏼♂️
The filter is about the same quality as your plumbing.
Oh it’s better than my plumbing that’s for sure 🤷🏼♂️
