THE MUSIC ....of SRI.Santhanam inspired me one day when i was just passing by the house of SRI.Sreekantaih the advocate in whose house at Chamarajapuram Mysore the famous ...''Ramanavami Concerts'' used to take place on the eve of every Ramanavami, during the 70's...a little distence from where we lived,.it was there that,.. i heard sree Santhanam sing certain ''Carnatic Krithis'' with great elan and melody though i had absolutely no knowledge of Carnatic Music as such,.i became an instant convert of this great Meastro,his singing made me experience the divinity contained in the Keertanas,
with a little knowledge of carnatics,and with a fairly good voice ( even at the ripe age of 80 ! ),I keep listening to Maharajapuram,with eyes closed.Beyond this,i am incapable of commenting.
