Thank you, very much, for adding to the all too short list of people reviewing this awesome pistol. Also, thank you for being honest about what a great gun, the Springfield TRP is. I have three TRP's (all black, grey frame and a stainless, Loaded model) and I won't part with them for anything, short of dying. Great camera work. Great commentary. Great gun porn. Great review!
It had more than the festures of a 1911, it is basically a 1911. The only mechanical moving parts changed for the 2011 design over the 1911 series 70 is that the trigger bow is widened around the mag, the mag release is widened and the pins are lengthend for the widebody frame. The entire fire control group, safetys and recoil system use 1911 parts.
awesome 2011! You need to come down to The Range At Austin. STI is there every Thursday and we get to shoot these bad boys for free, (even the costa comp), and hands down the best gun i have ever shot.
Excellent review again👍Thats a beauty! That compensator helps a lot with less flip for double taps and accuracy with lower recoil. Top quality, that trigger is like 😯 I wish I could get that over here in Switzerland 🙁
I own this gun, it is terribly reliable. All STI's have very close tolerances. They need to be cleaned and oiled often. They are just like Wilson's and every other hand made guns. They are also terribly accurate! Mine trigger just tested at 1.26 pound pull.

Man that thing is awesome, I think I just found my next gun
Loving your videos. I've shared a bunch and I'm learning in the process of watching them. Kudos, brother, thanks and keep up the great work.
I'm offended. Offended you don't have more subscribers. Great in depth video - thank you for making the time to create this video. +Desert Guardian
Man this thing is gorgeous! Can't wait to get my new Stacatto XC ! I've never even held a 2011.
Great, thanks a lot

i hate money
Very...Very...Nice
With the fixed compensator and the duel recoil springs, how is it to disassemble in order of accessibility to easily clean it ??
Im turned between omni and the costa. Price is not an issue, but i wanna know the diff between the two, coz they are almost similar. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Got to shoot one today....what a sweet pistol!
I love the 1911 style handguns! John Browning was way ahead of his time!
Not sure if this is the exact model STi I’m gonna get but I’ve got $2200 saved up , trying to get some more saved up because a 2011 is my next buy
Awesome pistol and vid love to have one by the way does I got a question does Chris Costa have a channel or do u know If so thanks for the info
O’boy.... I think that I like the CCC a bit too much. Is it wrong to sell body parts to fund a gun purchase?
This thing is a beauty!
So it’s basically a rebranded sti dvc omni. With out the rmr cutout?
This was available before the omni
But does it go bangbang well?
Good stuff!
Is this gun reliable ?
very similar to my old tussey stealth comp.
Carry gun?
Sti dvc carry!
if only I had the money for it
how reliable is this gun lol?
russell well, reliable enough that is has been tested, qualified and is carried by some of our local law enforcement!
they allowed LEOS to carry this?

Coast Guard...
Costa is not an operator. Was he part of JSOC no he was not, he was coast guard. A good shooter and well trained yes but an operator he is not.
That stippling is embarrassing. I'd be ashamed to reveal to anyone how much I paid for that.
